Yes, there are.

First you need to download the Transmogrifier (usually called TMog for short), which you can find at the Sim Depot's handy must-have programs page, here: https://www.thesimsdepot.com/sims-1...ams-for-sims-1/.

Then read the TMog tutorial, here: https://www.thesimstransmogrifier.c...erTutorial1.htm. That will teach you how to use TMog to clone an object, export its image files, and change those image files.

For more advanced work, the nice people at Woobsha have preserved several object-making tutorials written by a person with the unlikely name of Bunny Wuffles. :-) Bunny has tutorials about several different facets of object-making; you can find those at http://bwsost.woobsha.com/.

There are also a lot of tutorials for hacking objects, but since your object is just decorative, you don't need those.

Have fun! And if you like what you've made, please do share it when you've finished.

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html
