Default The Walk of Life Legacy Challenge
This is the official thread for the Walk of Life Legacy Challenge! This is a generational challenge that allows you to go through all of the Careers and other jobs/money making opportunities. There are currently 37 money making opportunities, not including the branches. My friends and I did it for TS3 and enjoyed it. One friend is on Generation 11 for TS3 and another retired hers at Gen 10. I am currently somewhat playing mine and on Generation 9. I loved doing this challenge, so I figured why not make it for TS4.

If you have any suggestions, feel free to suggest

Based on the original Sims 3 challenge by mimi_silhouette.

---Rules---

1. Any gender can be heir/heiress, unless playing a Patriarchy/Matriarchy.
2. All states of life are permitted (may change with future expansions).
3. If you don't fulfill the requirements of a generation, you must either restart the legacy or try again on a later generation.
4. Members of the household (such as spares or mates) cannot complete the challenges. Only heirs/heiresses are eligible to complete the requirements.
5. If you don't have the appropriate expansion pack for the selected vocation, skip it.
6. Lifetime Rewards may be used if they do not affect the outcome of the generational challenge.
7. If an heir/heiress fulfills more than one generation's requirements only one may be counted. The other must be completed by a later generation.
8. If a generation has an aspiration requirement, the aspiration may be changed once the requirements for that aspiration are filled.
9. Traits can be either chosen or randomized, as long as the necessary traits to complete the challenge are in place.
10. You may choose any lifespan that you prefer. Note that some of the challenges are difficult to complete on Normal.
11. Choosing the generational vocation: Due to the trait requirements, it may be in your best interest to hand-pick the career your heir/heiress will pursue. However, if you wish to randomize it, you may.
12. You DO NOT have to go in order
13. OPTIONAL RULE: If you find completing the aspirations to be too much, you can do a few of the tasks for each aspiration such buy a microphone stand, practice music for 6 hours, or pull 10 pranks. Just check the tasks for each aspiration on a site such as Carl's and choose the ones you wish to fulfill.
14. OPTIONAL: TS3 requirements wanted you to do both branches. I know when I had to do the Criminal Career in TS3 and chose Evil branch, I didn't want to go back and go through it all again to get to the Thief branch. I may eventually. So, it's up to you if you want to do both branches of the career or just do the career and ONE branch. This really is a bear of a challenge, but it's a fun one. I love doing legacies but I like having goals. Thanks for putting in the work on converting it from TS3. I'm getting ready to start it myself.
