Default How To Stop Flickering On Window 8 - Working!!
Just in case some of you have problems in the game play in the Sims 2 such as black boxes and flickering, I have found a solution.

To prevent the flickering, you set the smooth edges to high and it will stop the flickering. If the 'smooth edges' is greyed out, that means the sims 2 has not recognise the graphics card because it is too modern for the old little game. There is a solution to stop it from greying out.

This link will tell you how to remove the greyed out 'smooth edges' and will also help you recognise the graphic card. The black boxes below the sims are the shadows but some graphic bug. To remove the black boxes is setting the shadows to medium to remove the sims shadows.

If you have any questions, I am happy to help you enjoy simming
