I'm playing the Baldwin family and Isabel has the 'have a baby want'. I really like this family and they have the money for another one, but I really like their apartment and there's just no room!

What did you guys do?

Any other apartment recommendations which would be big enough, or maybe its just time for them to buy a house?

According to real-life, , when a family consists of the couple only, an apartment will do. When they have a child (or two), an apartment is still enough, but will be crowded. As for having a third, its probably time to move out.

Besides, there a lot of fancy homes in BC.

Though, you could still build your own apt building. however, it can be really tricky, check the thread that is stickied, it should help.

One tile cribs and bunkbeds are how I cope with big families in small spaces.

ETA: Also the old store baby danglemonster mat is great for the baby age. It takes up one tile, and babies love it.

Isabel and Benjamin ACR'd tried for baby and I heard baby chimes so I moved them out of the apartment and into a house because there was no room in the apartment for the third child. (In this case a little girl.)

Bunk beds, one-tile cribs and changing tables. I don't think I've ever heard of that baby mat thingy though.

Back to the original topic, Isabel is currently pregnant and the family will stay in their apartment. Sophia is nearly a teen so space shouldn't be a problem for too long.

It is indeed on MATY, but some of the links on the first few pages are probably dead and I'm not entirely sure which page an updated one is so, so you'll have to go a-hunting.

That one-tile crib is for sims 3, where is the sims 2 version?

Another trick I found useful for small places with large families is Atavera's anti-gravity bed . They come in single or double formats and are equal in quality to the cheapest bed. You can put them on the ceilings of rooms, which effectively doubles the number of Sims who can use each bedroom.

Sims getting out of ceiling beds will not be blocked by Sims in beds below, and ensuing collisions are cosmetic only. This can lead to some odd scenes, but does increase the flexibility of the beds.
