Default Is there a way to create a keystone incase you're really stuck?
I'm really stuck on this one adventure. In China they send me to France to talk to the Nectar Merchant. That way you can to discover the location of the keystone to recreate the Dragon's Maw.
In the beginning of playing WA, my Nectar Owner died. I have a new one, but no matter what I do, I can't ask her about the keystone. The question just doesn't pop up. I've tried this adventure with several sims now, and it gets a bit frustrating. I even know where the keystone is, but because I can't ask her about it, it won't spawn.

Does anyone know if there's a way to create a keystone you need, to make the adventure progress if you're really stuck?

If you know which keystone you need, you can create it in buydebug by control shift clicking on it, (under named) which I have done while random exploring. I don't know how it would work in conection with actual adventures though.

One of the things you can buy at the special merchant is a skeleton keystone that fits any door.

Yea, but that don't work on named keystones, so it wouldn't help there. Certain adventures require a specific keystone to open the doors.

Thanks, it would be very cool if that worked! I don't know the exact name of the keystone, but the message tells me that I should talk to the nectar merchant about the Vaughan Keystone.
btw, I tried to contol shift click on a stone, but the only option that comes up is "nuke". The stone then disappears.

My suggestion would be to either go back to your vacation home if you have one, or to the base camp. Then cheat to build or buy on the lot, while in buydebug mode, choose a keystone out of the tomb object, then control shift click on it while still in buymode, go through the list of named keystones, and see if one sounds like the right one.

Ah, I didn't know you had to stay in buy mode. Thank you so much!
I'll let you know if this makes the story progress.

Generally, if you have a broken adventure due to a missing NPC, you can fix it by dropping the adventure (right-click it). You'll be given it again sooner or later, and it will probably work the second time.

How can you get into buy mode in a location anyway?

Testingcheatsenabled True, then shift-click the ground and choose "enter buy mode" (or "build mode").

That's what I thought and it did work with other adventures where the NPC went missing. But I've been dropping this one 4 times already, so I'm getting a bit anxious to make it throught to the Dragon's Maw.

Anyway, I thought it couldn't hurt to see what happens if you have the keystone. But that's not going to trigger the "report in" message that I need.
So, I'm going to drop this one yet again. But one day I'm going to make it through the Dragon's Maw, if it's the last thing I do! :D
