Simbeline - sim goddess of fertility, families and small furry animals. This combined temple and family home provides a haven where spiritual sims can lead meaningful lives, sheltered from the distractions of today's materialistic society. Here they can spend their days in quiet contemplation, observing the rites and rituals of this most benevolent of deities.
Like all my lots, I've tried to make this as sim-friendly as possible - so that it's actually playable rather than just something nice to look at. I hope I've managed it this time, despite the inclusion of the large central pool. I really really like that pool (I built the whole house round it!) but I suppose if you want to be practical it would be easy to fill in and free up some more space. Just don't tell me you've done it.
3x4 lot, 142,743 part-furnished. 2 floors with 3 bedooms and 3 bathrooms, central hall with divining pool (or maybe it's a birthing pool??). Outside, driveway, terraces and sacred grove (sort of).
There's no custom content included and as a result the house is only half furnished - I'd have had to use tons of custom items which you probably wouldn't want and there didn't seem much point filling it with Maxis stuff which just doesn't look right. I would recommend a few items which you can see in the screenshots though....
Indoor plants from www.mangosims2.free.fr
Floor painting/pots from www.sims2sisters.sme.sk
Small woman figurine from www.dh-sims-site.com
Simveggie's brilliant recolours of Bienchen83's potless plant mesh from http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=133003
Pagan goddess paintings by me from http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=78803
(The one shown in the screenshot isn't included in these - I'll upload it if anyone wants it).

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
