A long time ago, the staff at ModTheSims2 hosted a Sci-Fi creator challenge. I submitted a University set that included three different University majors aimed at Alien Young Adults (but of course, usable by any Young Adult). One of those majors, Galactic Ambassador, gave me the feeling that it needed a career to go with it. So at long last, here is the matching Galactic Ambassador Career.

NOTES:
* Fully tested in-game
* Teen/ Elder career included!
* Chance cards for all 10 Adult career levels and all 3 Teen/ Elder career levels
* Unique GUIDs, will not overwrite any other career
The custom Career Reward for the Adult career is Treeag's utterly amazing Sim Transformer.
From Treeag's page: This magical picture can transform (and cure) your sim to any of the creatures, except servo, bigfoot, and genie (obviously). But you can spawn them, though. Of course, you need appropriate expansions for the creatures transformation. The options will appear accordingly to the EP you have installed. For example, if you don't have Pets then the pie menu "turn into werewolf" and "cure lycanthropy" won't even appear.
Features :
-Transform your sim into zombie, vampire, werewolf, plantsim, witch (infallibly good, good, nice, neutral, mean, evil, atrociously evil), and alien.
-Cure your sim from zombiism, vampirism, lycanthropy, plantsimism, witchery, and alienism.
-Spawn servo, bigfoot, and genie lamp.
-All wants and fears related should be satisfied.
PLEASE SEE TREEAG'S ORIGINAL POST for more information on this amazing object!
The Career Reward is a cloned version of the orginial Sim Transformer, and will not overwrite the original. You can have both in your game if you choose.

Galactic Ambassador
Bridging the Culture Universe
Cloned from Politics
Adult Career GUID: 0x0042CB23
Teen/ Elder Career GUID: 0x0042CB29
Linked University Majors: Drama, Economics, History, Political Science, Galactic Ambassador
Adult Job Levels:
1. Peace Corp Volunteer
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Sun, Mon, Wed, Thur, Sat | $200
You've always wanted to see the world, but this may not have been exactly what you had in mind. The work is hard, the hours are long, and the bugs are big enough to saddle and ride! But you're making a difference in Sims' lives, and someday the experience you gain here will be invaluable.
CHANCE CARD:
While hacking your way through the jungle, you stumble upon a community where some unknown entity has been re-animating the dead into blue-skinned Zombies. These poor creatures are confused by their new status, and fearful of outsiders, therefore they have hidden themselves away in a remote section of deep jungle. You know the re-animator must be stopped, or there will be countless more victims, but you also know you could become famous overnight by calling the tabloid magazines with this discovery. Do you notify your mission leader of your find, or get on the satellite uplink and call the tabloids?
2. Zombie Liaison
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Sun, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat | $300
Having gained the trust of the small, secretive zombie community, you've been appointed to bridge the gap as they are studied by the scientific community, and integrated into mainstream society. Learn all you can about their language and culture, and you can add this to your list of credentials later.
CHANCE CARD:
Alone in your small hut at night, you come awake to the feeling of a lurking presence somewhere in the dark. Opening your eyes, you are startled to see eyes staring at you out of a pale, bloodless face. You've heard the legends about a coven of Vampires somewhere in the ruins of an old mission church, but you always thought they were rumors. Now you're staring one in the face. Your explorer's curiosity is urging you to try to speak to the creature, but your sense of self-preservation is screaming for you to get out of there, fast! Do you speak up, or scramble for the door and run?
3. Vampire Liaison
10:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri | $500
You walk where few mortals dare, and do work that strikes fear in the hearts of even the bravest of souls. The Vampire culture is alluring, but also very dangerous. Keep your wits about you and your mirror close at hand, and you just might survive.
CHANCE CARD:
The abandoned mission church where the Vampires live is old, and some say it's haunted by the ghosts of Vampires who have tasted the sun's fatal kiss. Sometimes in the church at night, you hear eerie moaning and feel a cold draft up the back of your neck, but you always tell yourself that it's just your imagination, making the wind sound ominous. One night, the sounds seem particularly compelling, like they might be coming from the corridor just outside the room you're in. Do you go exploring through the church, or ignore the noises as usual?
4. GhostBuster
10:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri | $600
"If there's something strange in your neighborhood, Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! If there's something weird and it don't look good, Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! I ain't afraid of no Ghost!" You've been placed in charge of rendering Ghosts innocuous to still-living Sims. You're tracking down urns and gravestones and moving them to an island cemetery where they belong. Keep your proton pack handy, or you may find yourself with an urn of your own.
CHANCE CARD:
While tracking down the gravestone of a particularly pesky spook in a dark graveyard at night, you hear a low growl behind some bushes. The hair on your neck stands up as you see two glowing yellow eyes gazing out at you from the foliage. Do you go to investigate, or call it a night and leave the graveyard?
5. Werewolf Liaison
10:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri | $800
You're working with a tragically misunderstood culture. Sims by day, Werewolves by night, these creatures feel like outsiders with nowhere to fit in. Sometimes you feel more like a therapist than a diplomat! But if your work can promote cross-culture communication, you may very well have a hand helping an entire class of Sim gain mainstream acceptance.
CHANCE CARD:
Werewolves like to live where there are a lot of bushes and shrubbery. As a result, your field office is in a remote location in a dense forest. Walking through the forest one afternoon, you come upon an open meadow, where carefully tended gardens stretch out before your eyes. You're amazed to see some of the plants moving! Looking closer, you see that they are not really plants at all, but PlantSims. You've discovered another new culture. Do you walk down into the garden to greet the new species, or do you return to your field office to call and report the discovery to the scientific community?
6. PlantSim International Trader
11:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Sun, Thurs, Fri, Sat | $900
PlantSims give off Spores of Happiness when they're happy, and their produce is the most mouth-watering, delicious food you've ever tasted. Also, facilitating the trade of that produce takes you to many exciting and exotic locations all over the world. You love your job!
CHANCE CARD:
While on a trade mission to the mountains to barter for a new type of organic fertilizer, you encounter a group of hairy beings. They resemble Werewolves a little, but their language and mannerisms are unique. They invite you to participate in some sort of ritualistic Slap Dance, but you don't know the dance. Do you accept the invitation and follow along as best you can, or decline the invitation to avoid offending them by mangling their ceremonial dance?
7. Bigfoot Great Communicator
11:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Sun, Thur, Fri, Sat | $1000
Now you can say you know Simlish backward and forward. The backward-talking language of the Bigfoot just flows off your tongue, to the amazement of all who hear you. And Slap Dancing is fun, too!
CHANCE CARD:
While communicating for the Bigfoot clan in the local village, you are approached by a group of visiting dignitaries of different cultures and nationalities who ask you about the Bigfoot culture. Do you answer your questions yourself on the spot, or arrange a meeting between them and a member of the Bigfoot clan to allow them to ask their questions first-hand?
8. Intercultural Interpreter
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur | $1200
You can speak any creature language in the Sim world, and now it's time to put those skills to work. Yips, howls, moans, Simlish, Spores of Happiness, Slap Dance, you understand it all. Keep your skills sharp, and maybe someday you'll be speaking a language that's out of the Sim world!
CHANCE CARD:
While interpreting radio broadcasts of the International SimGames for fans in SimCity, you are bombarded with a deafening burst of static in your headset, then a jumble of jibberish unlike anything you've ever heard before. It could be a new language, sent by an unknown contact. Do you ask your assistant to record the new signal so you can work on translating it later, or do you turn over your interpretation duties to your assistant and tackle the new signal immediately?
9. Alien Liaison
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM | Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur | $1300
They've landed! First contact has been made, and because of your language talents and experience with inexplicable cultures, you've been chosen as the spokesperson for all Simkind, as we take this new step into the galactic society!
CHANCE CARD:
The leader of the visiting Alien delegation is delighted with life on Earth, and wishes to take a creature back with them to show the Aliens on their home planet, as an initial step to intergalactic relations. Because of your knowledge of Sim creatures, he asks you to choose a creature to make the journey, hinting that the Aliens back home are particularly partial to furry things. With this in mind, do you choose a Werewolf to send, or a Bigfoot?
10. Galactic Ambassador
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Tue, Wed, Thur | $1500
The time has come to send a diplomat forth to represent Earth to the galactic community. With your skills and talents, could there be anyone else more qualified? Enjoy your new status, and try not to start any interplanetary wars!
CHANCE CARD:
While working aboard an Alien colony ship, you spot a figure you could never mistake in a million years. You've found Bella Goth! She is being used as a Birth Queen in a secret experimental cross-breeding program. She seems dazed, disoriented, and has no memory of who she is or how she came to be aboard a spaceship. Obviously, she must be returned to her family, but the situation is extremely sensitive, and could spark an intergalactic incident if you take it upon your human self to meddle in internal Alien affairs. Do you try contact the Alien Prime Minister to expose the unauthorized cross-breeding program and request her release, or do you attempt to secretly transport Bella home without the knowledge of the Aliens who are holding her captive aboard their ship?

Teen/ Elder Job Levels
1. Foreign Language Student
5:00 - 8:00 PM | Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri | $100
You're studying the language and culture of a far-away land. You're fascinated by the cadence and flow of the language and the nuances of the culture. Earn good grades, and you may find new opportunities open up for you!
CHANCE CARD:
A small, family-run restaurant needs some window signs translated into Zombie, to indicate that they do not serve brains. This might be a way for you to earn some extra spending money. You had a lesson in Zombie last week, but it only touched on the basics. Do you agree to try the translation, or do you refer the restaurant owners to your foreign language teacher?
2. Foreign Exchange Participant
5:00 - 8:00 PM | Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri | $125
You've studied it, now you're ready to live it. Learn everything you can, and make friends along the way, and you may find an opportunity to use your knowledge to benefit your fellow Sims.
CHANCE CARD:
The International SimGames are being held right in the community you are visiting. The chance to attend the Games is the opportunity of a lifetime. You want to go, but do you root for your hometown SimCity Llamas or the Evil Cow team from the local community you're visiting?
3. Goodwill Ambassador
5:00 - 8:00 PM | Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri | $150
You've learned it, you've lived it, now you're ready to share your knowledge. People like you will someday be in charge of governments, nations, and whole planets. You are buiding bridges to the future!
CHANCE CARD:
Part of your mission as Goodwill Ambassador is to foster understanding and communication between different cultural groups. While planning an upcoming cultural summit, you have to choose two cultures to bring together for a diplomatic meeting. Do you invite Vampires to meet with PlantSims, or Werewolves to meet with Bigfeet?
