The... what challenge?
The decades challenge is something that Youtuber ZombieCleo came up with. You work your way through several decades, starting at the 1890's, all the way to the current time. Each new decade starts with the children growing into young adults (I prefer teens since the toddler stage was added since her initial post). An alternative ruleset for this challenge has been posted by MTS user kakeru_naruse.

About this build
There's some specific rules that a starter house needs to adhere to, which I've tried to follow:
  • Outside toilet
  • No electricity (Lighting is a problem here, use candles or lanterns)
  • Wooden furniture only (No upholstered beds only quilts and blankets)
  • Old fashioned stove and fridge
  • No showers only bathtubs
  • Wooden walls and floors
  • House must only be decorated with impressionist or classic paintings

Make sure you use the bb.moveobjects cheat before placing the lot, or you will lose some items. It's been thoroughly play tested and all usable items can be reached normally by your sims.

Lot Size: 20x20
Lot Price (furnished): 18407
