Default Various hacks to make an apartment megahood more bearable
So I've set up a megahood, stuffed everyone into apartments in Belladonna Cove, and am playing them in rotation until I run out of sims or the megahood explodes, whichever happens first. I have quite a lot of hacks set up, but playing hoods where everyone lives in an apartment isn't the most normal of use cases! As such, I've run into a few issues that I'd like to sort out before I start my next rotation, preferably with hacks:

A way to change the season and day of the week on command: I'm playing seasonal rotations, I like it when days of the week line up, and I need to move a few families around. Preferably something that can be used indoors, because I'd prefer to screw with the lot zoning as little as possible.

A way to stop inactive sims from fighting: Some of my sims hate their roommates, because that happens sometimes. Trouble is, when I'm playing another family on the lot, they fight constantly, over and over again, filling their memories with 'fought x' and making them reconciling when I do have control (which also happens sometimes) much, much harder. I'd like something that just stops fighting when I'm not playing their household, because hey, sometimes I do want them to fight.

A way to stop sims from kicking over the trashcan: There are a lot of families in the megahood who hate each other, and with some of my hacks modifying the walkby rate a lot of people come stomping up to kick over the trashcan. There are a lot of households where the trashcan spends more time kicked than unkicked, which is... annoying. I don't want it in my game. Is there a hack that makes it not happen?

A way to stop all my sims getting flu: The biggest reason I want trashcan kickers gone is that when the cockroaches come, someone inevitably catches flu. That's bad enough, but even sims whose household I'm not playing can catch the flu! They give it to each other! They give it to my active sims! There are lots in my game where the flu is endemic. Every time I switch to a different household, all the non-playables catch flu, and when I start playing one of them, another household gives the flu to my old playables! I have seen enough coughing fits to last me a thousand sim lifetimes. I don't want to get rid of the flu completely, but I do want to stop it being such a big problem. Is there some sort of inoculation hack?

Have fun with your megahood!

1) I personally use the Seasons & Weather Controller, you can get it from here (courtesy of Bulbizarre: https://simfileshare.net/folder/15690/ - you can find it in Misc - Misc, a little green vase thing for 1 Simoleon.

2) Perhaps this mod "no Kicking Over Trash Can EP4" by Squinge? http://www.insimenator.org/index.php?topic=27560.0

3) The Sim Manipulator has an option, among many other different options as well, to cure your Sim(s) and/or make your Sim(s) immune to sickness. https://simmanipulator.forumotion.c...sim-manipulator

I believe you can change both season and day of the week with Sim Manipulator as well.

A way to change the season and day of the week on command.

I use the Season jar from simwardrobe posted above ^ and the day setter from here. http://modthesims.info/d/318007/day-setter.html

A way to stop inactive sims from fighting:
You would have to load them up and change the relationship between them with a mod. The simblender would let you make them friends.

A way to stop sims from kicking over the trashcan

Fence it in on 3 sides.

A way to stop all my sims getting flu:
I would make everyone well on the sim manipulator and make sure bins don't get kicked.

If your Sims have a prisoner token, they can't show up at a community lot as uncontrollables; this will stop the fighting, also flirting and otherwise starting drama you haven't planned. I always move trash cans to someplace nobody can get to it (like a back porch, or INSIDE!) for fence it in; maybe with a locked gate. I don't like it to far away from the front door if you have students because the trash can is their "home" marker - they go there from school, THEN look for somewhere to hide their homework

Stand up, speak out. Just not to me..

@mitzirocker There are two mods to stop "Trash Can" kicking. You will need to read them both to decided which one is best for your needs.
http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2P...2_MiscHacks.htm scroll down until you see it, ( be sure you have the right EP for it check the Letters beside it show the needed EP. ) Mod is by Inge's I use this mod. Also then there is this one http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,27560.0.html This is by Squinge read what it will do.

NOTE: Both creator of these mods are well known for there excellent work. By using one ( Only use one ) of these mods you will NOT have to build a fence around the trash can to stop it from being kick.
I once had problems with Old Goth ( Pleasantview ) teen son Alexander kicking over the trash since I added Inge's mod it no longer happen.

Yet Another way to stop sims from kicking over the trashcan: Cyjon did a few of these as part of his Walkbys Behave set, specifically "...TrashKick" (which only stops kicking) and "...TrashMess" (which stops all trash can tampering, including eating and foraging from it). More details on the mods' page (make sure you read the installation notes, at least).

Before finding a mod to stop can kicking, I would quickly make that sim controllable and have them clean up the mess. (:
