Passover or Pesach is one of the major festivals in the Jewish calendar, it's the celebration of the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and lasts for either seven days or eight days.

During Passover, one of the things people do is have a big meal or feast together called the Passover Seder, where it's important to tell & talk about the Exodus story, eat special symbolic foods placed on a Seder plate, drinking wine and to celebrate the Isrelites' freedom. These are some of the foods one might find at a Passover Seder.

Charoset Notes:
Also known as haroset and charoises, charoset is a paste made from spices, fruit and nuts that's often eaten on matzos at Passover.

Gefilte Fish Notes:
Gefilte fish is a dish made from a mixture of ground fish (usually white fish) that can be eaten during many Jewish holidays, one of those (of course) being Passover.

- Optional Matzo Packet (from this pack), and EA any veggie, any fish, carrot and basil ingredients (cake can still be cooked without)
- Non-Vegetarian, Lactose Free.

Matzo Ball Soup Notes:
A classic, matzo ball soup is a classic Ashkenazi Jewish Passover meal, it can be made in a variety of ways with either chicken or veggie stock (this one is veggie), and has soup dumplings in it made out of a mixture of ground matzo made into a ball shape. A nostalgic classic for sure.

- Optional Matzo Packet (from this pack), and EA onion, carrot and any veggie ingredients (cake can still be cooked without)
- Vegetarian-Safe, Lactose Free.

Matzah brei is an Ashkenazi Jewish dish made from a mix of eggs and matzos. It's the perfect breakfast during Passover.

- Vegetarian-Safe, Lactose Free.

Tzimmes Notes:
Tzimmes is a dish eaten at many holidays, the name comes from the Yiddish for “a big fuss.” and is essentially a stewed vegetable casserole.

- Must be made as whole dish, then can be served out.
- Optional EA any herb, onion, lemon, carrot, and any veggie, as well as icemunmun cinnamon ingredients (cake can still be cooked without)
- Vegetarian-Safe, Lactose Free.
