I would suggest that stick with NL version and use the cheap computer, pls dont use expensive and sunair.

The sunair computer includes an separate mesh from a computer at Sunair's site.

I am not quite sure what you mean...The V9 that is for Nightlife is the current one I have been using...and if this is what you are talking about using.....I have always used the expensive computer and not the cheap one and never used the sunair one for you did not have one for the sunair for nightlife at the time I got it....so if you are talking about the one for nightlife....than why do I have to use the cheap one instead of the expensive....if there is a problem for sure with the expensive I will only use the cheap but I never used the cheap before but since I now have Pets installed than I can no longer use the one for just Nighlife now.....can I

Rainbow.....I do use the Sunair computer from Sunair....and not Moniques because she had told me before that since it was OFB I could not use it......but was wondering if it since has been updated for Pets and I now have Pets could I use it now even if it was compatible for OFB

I am just confused on this.....using the computer for up to Nightlife would be fine but I now have Pets installed and many have said that the computer will cause problems if we do not get the updated one.....but since not having OFB I thought maybe you would not just use these functions for OFB......so anyway does this make it that no one that doesn't have one of these expacks can now no longer use the Monique Computer.....what a waste because I have loved this computer for so long....The most I used it for was paying bills online....buying clothes and eletronic gagets.....playing the SSX game and playing fast for fun....the study for kids....chat on line....Expressy Delivery,....choosing a career.......well anyway guess I have to find mods that will replace these

You only have the Pets version available for download, but I need the OFB one. What do I do?

Same here. I've got all EP's up to OFB but don't want to get PETS (yet). I've read all 27 pages and the next most recent download I can find within the thread is for v9.0 which I think was for NL (after 27 pages I'm a little fuzzy). I'm going to give v13.4 PETS a go even tho I don't have PETS (bad move??) so fingers crossed. If anyone knows that I'm going to have troubles by doing this please let me know. I don't get a chance to play as often as I'd like and it might take me a while to figure out.

I only have up to OFB and downloaded the pets version. It did cause problems in my game. I had to tell my sims several times to do the same thing. They would begin to start the action but then glitch out of the action and ignore it. I uninstalled the pets version hacked computer and all is well again. I wouldn't suggest downloading the pets version unless you have pets. Where can I get an OFB version? Thank you.

Hi, first of all thanx for the wonderful hack, have been using it since the first version. I've installed the latest version, and it's causing the jump bug. I have all the EPs and SPs intalles except for Pets. The previous version was fine, but I like the new one, cos there's school fee added. Again, love your hack...

Hi, is it possible for you to make the badge earning feature to be turned off? I don't especially like my sims earning badges w/o working for them. Maybe that's just me, but I like the challenge of them working for it. For the same reason I don't usually use money cheats. I only suggest the ability to turn it off b/c I'm sure somebody else likes this feature. I love your comp otherwise. I like having the feature of my sims saving and earning interest on their savings. The auto college and private school is nice too although sometimes I will turn it off so as to go thru the Headmaster scenario for a challenge. It's just that if the game is too easy it gets very boring very fast. Thanks!

Is anyone else having a jump bug issue when they buy electronics with the computer? They buy the item, jump out of the chair, and the item doesn't stay in their inventory but they get credited for the want. Ohwell.

I'm also having some jump bugs with the Pets computer. Sims haven't been able to order groceries or pizza for express delivery; they start the action but don't complete it. I also had a fire-alarmless Sim left unable to call the fire department. He'd pick up the phone and dial but hang up before completing the call. Luckily, the fire burned itself out!

I've downloaded the Pets version and it was working fine. Now, all of a sudden, the "find a job" function does not work. Sims sits down and types for awhile then the "no more jobs available" box pops up. I also get an error message when first entering a lot. Any ideas? Thanks

It sounds like that you have a computer object (cheap, expensive or light computer) that is still in old version and you are using the latest controller, I mean it's a mixture of old and new version. Pls redownload v13.4 and replace all of them.

I did download that version, twice. But I installed a lot that may have had an old version on it, now if I can just find where that one is installed. Thanks

Hi, I don't know if you'll see this or not, but I'm having some probs w/your updated OFB version (the one that has private school fees and other things). Sometimes when I click on it my sims will jump away from it like the jump bug and I'm also having tons of probs w/my sims even interacting w/it! Whenever I click on it and have them do something, they'll go to it and sit down and start going thru the motions, but then the action drops out of their queue immediately. I tried buying a new comp and it worked for the first time and then quit. I took out all other hacks and it still does it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No, it's not updated OFB version. It is PETS version.

What I'm saying is that I'm having these problems w/the OFB version that I d/led from Jade Elliot's post where he/she posted a link to it. Do you know what may be causing these problems? I never had any problems before the added features. I do not have Pets yet and I have not d/led the Pets version of this comp yet. Thanks!

But the OFB version does not have a "private school fees", if you sees that feature it means that you're using the PETS version. I suggest that remove all MQ_Computer_xxxx files from your Downloads then redownload JadeEliott uploads.

Ok, that explains everything. I'm not sure how I got hold of the Pets version of it, but I deleted all of my temp files and then did a fresh d/l of the one in Jade's post. It looks good now. It doesn't have all the xtra files in it. Thanks Monique!

Edit: I'm still having problems. Does SunAir's Light Comp come w/the OFB version? I totally deleted the comp from my game, cleaned out my temps folder and did a fresh d/l and install of the OFB version from Jade's post. The only prob is that this d/l only has the banking codes and such and not the comps themselves. I took the comps from another folder that was titled "Monique's Comp" and too the comps out of there and put them in. To my knowledge this shouldn't have hurt since these were only the comps and not the codes, but then I don't know. Maybe I'll just go out and get Pets and be done w/it!

Edit Again: Is this comp a global hack or something? I have a family that does NOT have the comp at all and yet their child was just put into private school and has been charged private school fees. You said that is was a Pets version feature. I completely deleted ALL of my temp files and re d/led the comp from Jade's link. I did have some of the comps from my other folder which must have been the Pets version. I didn't think that the comps themselves would have any code in them. Having a sim charged private school fees in spite of not having a comp sounds like a global hack, yet you said that it *isn't* global. Which is true? Is it possible that this hack somehow overwrote some of the global files? How do I find out? It is also interfering w/badge skills. When all playable adult sims on this lot got a bronze badge in selling they were no longer able to interact w/the customers on a seller/customer level. He only had the normal sim to sim interactions. Also how can I get a purely OFB version of this? Thanks!
