Yes I can confirm, that this mod runs fine under patch 1.26 BUTconflicts as soon as there are PETS in the game. Would be really great Menaceman44 if you could make your version available I just hate it when sims keep running around all the time. Thank you

According to the upload regulations severedsolo has to have been inactive for at least a month with no notice of a return given for me to be allowed to update his mod. Currently he was last active on October 14th so a few more days have to pass before I can do anything.

Noted, I have time. Do you think it would be possible to have versions of the mod, where one could choose how far sims would walk before they take a car? I once had a mod called "SIMS MUST WALK" by baylewll, but since the Generations EP it doesn't work properly anymore. I have attached the Readme file of the mod to give you an idea of the different walking distance options. In case you are interested I can send you the mod files.

I assume that file will have stopped working because of something to do with the new strollers/ pushchairs. I've never personally looked at the file which determines how far a destination must be for Sims to use vehicles.

I can say it has nothing to do with the file for this mod. This controls the walking styles only and at what distance to use each one. There are no references to traffic in this one at all.

Feel free to send me the files to look at, but I can't promise I will get them updated.

I knew now your mod.
And I loved it!
And I wonder if you will upgrade to version 1.26?
Because when I use it, my animals can not make any interaction.

For anyone who wants to stop their sims from running or jogging all together (but still having the option from the little action dropdown) I've noticed Shimrod has a file that does that and is compatible with Pets.

Thanks a lot That's much better now, allthough sims will still take their car when the destination is too far away or when they travel in a group.

With Baileywll's mod it was possible to have sims walking much further and also together in an group. Probably because that Mod changes the distance before a sim would use his car and not the walkig style... Hopefully he will update the mod in the future.

Thanks soooo much. My sim looked ridiculous in her little Barbie spikey heels running like she as trying out for the Kentucky Derby. This is the only mod I found that worked. So Thanks again.

I have updated this mod to work in Pets and Showtime(using it right now 1.34). If anyone wants to have it until the modder releases an updated(official version) I can attach it to a reply... I am not sure how that works(not a regular poster).

I had the serious black orb glitch with this mod not updated. It means pets cause areas in your lot to be blocked by nothing and black orbs appear.

Default Sim Walk don't Run...
This is the updated mod for those people using Pets and Supernatural(like I am). I am not the mod developer, nor do I know the person, so, no support. I hope the developer would find the time to update their mod. This is just to "remedy" the situation until they have updated their mod.

It functions in Pets and Supernatural(tested).

i looooved this... but sadly i can't use it... if i do my pets don't do any automous and i can't play like this... do you thik you can fix this pets problem?

this does not seem too work my some sims now walk everyware and some run everyware

i am patched to 1.50
