I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that was bothered buy the ask to leave animation. Like others had mentioned I would just wait for the sim to leave on their own.
If it was tied to an emotion it would have a been a good animation if the sim was angry or had a mean trait.

Oh my god, thank you! ISaying goodbye doesn't seem to do anything, and asking to leave is SOOOO harsh.

This is a great mod. I would be perfect if it could also make sure that ask to leave is always available. Not even sure if that is possible

EA changed the goodbye interaction a bit (added a wave anim) but I tested it in the game and it works fine! They'll double wave goodbye if you ask to leave but it's cute. It seems even more friendly now! :lovestruc
When a party ends now it's fun to see all the guests say bbye and wave ^^

I thought he might have just not had a good time with the person.

There's one new test in the xml with GTW, looks as for owned retail lots. I would update the file.

Attached is a version created from 1.13. The older version looks like it would cause some misbehaviour in social groups (I haven't tested that, but since it's a very straightforward mod, updating was easier than testing =P).

how does this mod affect the person being asked to leave to react?

They never acted embarrassed in my game. What this does is exactly what it says in the description: "Replaces the Ask to Leave interaction's animation with that used for the Good-Bye interaction".
