Hey, people!

So... I've been away for quite some time now and it seems my mod caused some people trouble After all, the game got updated and my mod didn't. I'm REALLY sorry for whatever trouble I caused you.

I'll let scumbumbo support this mod from now on. I loved the modding scene, I loved to be part of this community. It's super awesome! And I'd love to get back to modding some day. But right now, I can't. It's been really hard for me since I lost my job. These last months were, let's say, interesting.

Anyways, I hope I'm able to come back to this some day and create some more interesting mods that you can enjoy. I'm not even really playing The Sims now Not even downloading your awesome new mods either. It's just sad.

Thanks for all the support, for all the love, and I hope I get back to this one day. I've never felt THAT loved in all my life. You guys are incredible! Thanks for letting me be part of this community for this short time.

See you...

I understand how it is and I hope you are able to get back on your feet soon. I truly appreciate what all you creators have done throughout all the sims games. I truly appreciate all the hard work that went into it. My best regards. Hoping to see you around these parts in the near future!

Would you be able to update that, too? It's by maximm. It's just suppose to stop sims from wearing glasses to bed and stop stupid costume outfits for everyday wear and such. Currently have sims walking around town looking like they are a part of Universal SouL Circus. Max is going to be away from the modding scene for a while. :/ I don't know if anyone else will update it. Might have to just do without.

If this gets updated it would be nice to add a feature that keeps sims from spinning back to everyday clothes everytime they exit the hot tub or exit the gym machines. Sims moving between gym machines or going from hot tub to pool and back are constantly spinning into everyday attire. The game used not to do this. People at the gym stayed in gym attire. The constant spinning now makes me dizzy.

I use Deaderpool's command center for stuff like that. You can blacklist any outfit from any category and every few sim nights it will run a cleanup on all sims. There's also a menu added to sims that let you run the cleanup manually.

That change would be a better target for an XML mod. Check on WCIF there may be something out there that already mods this.

How do you have more than one outfit for each category to start with?

Easy! After selecting an outfit type in CAS, click on the little green arrow to show the outfit numbers. Then you can click the plus sign to add an outfit (up to five). If you want, you can also click the little red X to remove an outfit later. I've attached a couple of screenshots in case this isn't clear.

I just tried this mod, and I cant get into the hottub.
Last patch must have broken it in some way.

@gusti - I've had to update the mod several times, but now that Deaderpool has added this feature to his already awesome MC Command Center I won't be updating it in the future.

Issues with going to school/work
I have no idea why, and it seems that no one else is having this issue. But my sims cannot go to work/school. I have tried taking out every other mod and they go just fine, but when I put this mod back in, they won't go. I'm using Mod Manager and left the .py and .pyo files in the zip and put in the mods folder. Thanks for any help in advance!

This mod is outdated and abandoned by the original author. I made some patches to get it working up until Deaderpool added the same feature as an option in his MC Command Center. I would suggest getting that mod as it adds this feature and tons more.

Is this a hard change that's uneditable? I'm seeing no option anywhere for retaining a given outfit (for example: Sleep 3 is worn on a given night, sim gets up to go to the bathroom, goes back to bed and retains wearing Sleep 3) like this mod.

Can someone who knows these things possibly update this mod. I've tried that MC Command Center, but I really don't care for it, as I hate super mods like that and I just feel it screws up more than it fixes. I just want this "feature" without all that other stuff, and I still see nothing about this being included in MC Command Center.

@jswartz0181 (and any others who want just this and not Deaderpool's MC Command Center)

Attached is a version which should work with the latest game patch (January 7, 2016). This required a complete rewrite for this game version, so I've made it a .ts4script file now. So unzip the contents of the download into your mods folder and make sure script mods are enabled in your game options.

I only wrote this as an exercise to get ready to update my Outfit Tools mod, since they've completely changed the functions for handling clothing this seemed like a good way to figure some stuff out. So this is absolutely the last time I'm updating this mod. Positively the last. No really, I mean it this time.
Attached files:
File Type: zip  StickyClothesChoices.zip (3.1 KB, 58 downloads)
Description: Sticky Clothes Choices compatible with January 7, 2016 game patch.

Moved the update from post #93 to the main post. Am I right in that people only need this one file, yes? (Just asking because I'm not familiar with it and I see it used to be three individual uploads)

@plasticbox the two optional files are XML overrides that I've never used - so I don't really have any clue if they are still valid. I'll take a quick look at them. Yeah, those are outdated, that tuning no longer exists in the game it's implemented in the scripting now (since December 4 game patch).

The remaining file, MaximiliumM_StickyClothesChoices_PATCHED.zip, is a very old script that is no longer functional. I think I've updated the script two or three times since that one broke.

OK, thanks for the info. Do you think we should remove the older files entirely? Or maybe put them all together in an "OLDSTUFF" zip .. there may still be people who don't patch (often) so they might want them, and also, out of priniciple, I don't want to delete a user's files.

Lol - beats the heck out of me, but I agree just deleting people's files is probably a bad idea. Putting them into an archive zip sounds like a good idea to me.
