Yup. it definitely needs an update. I had last exception errors coming and going. But once I removed this mod, it stopped and my game started functioning properly. Great mod tho!!!

No it doesn't. I played with just this mod in the folder and no LE's generated. You have something conflicting. This mod works fine.

This mod also still works for me, but it needs an update for toddlers and vampires. I'm able to reset my human Sims, but I was unable to reset it on my toddlers or vampires.

Edit: Never mind for vampires, I was finally able to reset my vampire nude. I was doing the command wrong this time, but it still needs an update for toddlers. I know I put the command right with the toddler because the white box told me they were wearing bathing outfit 1 but it never took the diaper off.

It doesn't seem like the mod works? I have tried using the command on my sim several times without any results. :/ I don't get any error messages when I use the command code, either. Would love to see an update on this because it really bugs me when my sims take a shower in clothes. I've deleted some of the CC outfits that usually appeared as the nude outfit, but now my sim is wearing the standard pink underwear like in CAS. :/

It seems like there is plenty of frustration to go around with this mod. I don't blame Lynire if she's getting tired of saying the mod works after 8 pages and a couple of years in, but have also felt the frustration of having this not work no matter how carefully I tried to follow the instructions. However, I've finally figured it out and I think I can clarify some things that will hopefully help others.

This is a script mod. That means...

1) You have to enable script mods in your game.

2) This is an older kind of script mod than many are used to. Do *not* unzip/open the zip file. Put the unopened zip file directly into your Mods folder without any sub folders.

To take care of your cc, get the latest version of Sims 4 Studio here , if you don’t already have it, and use the batch fix.

Right now the most current version of Studio is 3.1.0.9 (Wishes) and you use it by opening Studio and clicking “tools” in upper left hand corner, then “Batch Fixes” -->“CAS” --> “Disallow CC for shower” in the successive drop-down menus. (The exact procedure could change in future versions of Studio, but hopefully this will help even the most unfamiliar users manage.)

Important: If you have nude outfits, like cmar’s nude in CAS, in your mods folder, take them out *before* batch fixing! You might not think of it ahead of time, but, obviously, if your Sims aren’t allowed to wear their nude clothes in the shower because of the batch fix, the game has to mess up the nude outfit again!

Others have pointed many of these things out in earlier posts, but it still just became more confusing to me several pages in. I hope this will ease some frustration though.

My sims are still switching thorugh EA clothes--even after disabling cc for shower and reseting all outfits.

Question is, instead of resetting the bathing outfit, is there a way to SET the bathing outfit manually?

When my newly created Not So Berry founder took his first shower... he wore a lovely cocktail dress. WHAT THE HELL?
Seriously. A cocktail dress. Ok, granted, I plan to have him be bisexual, but the game doesn't know that yet! I never planned for him to wear dresses. And certainly NOT in the shower. hahaha

Nope, my game loaded but the household itself did not. It probably just kept loading, I killed it off with task manager. Its a bother, i liked this mod. My main simmie started wearing one dress from city living while showering and i cant fix it with s4s

Just in case anyone updates this to the new (code) normal, could I please ask for a nuclear option to destroy all non-CAS-editable outfits for every sim in the DB?

In hindsight, that might not be the most useful tool, perhaps a shift rclick menu item to nuke the current outfit always available on everyone would be more useful.

Updated the Mod to make it work after the phyton update (plus added Hot /Cold Weather Codings for Seasons) . Be aware i am no script Modder so don't ask for any new features or so Also keep in mind this will not Fix Issues with CC CAS Clothes!

does this fix the issue with sims in towels? because my female sims have to have shoes on now apparently.

Depends if they have CC Shoes. As far as i know it clears the Outfit but if you have CC Shoes that are allowed with Towels it will happen again and again.

So I'm at my wits end here with this stupid bathing outfit error. I've tried all solutions that I've come across aside from the painful process of determining what CC is causing this, which I'm unfortunately about to do now. I've even tried the S4S troubleshooting and since it only addresses CC, my toddler is now being bathed in vanilla clothing as some have stated elsewhere. The weird thing is that the only life stage being affected by this are toddlers. I know I can just age them up and be done with it but I'd really rather not just ignore the issue and address it head-on so I can get it fixed. I tried LittleMsSam's updated package file (following Merry927's step-by-step instructions) too with no results. I tried MCCC as well and used a command to copy my toddler's swimming outfit, which I changed to just diapers for this purpose, and it only worked until the next time I booted up the game. When I went to get give my toddler a bath, the accursed vanilla clothes were back...For those who are unfortunate enough to have this issue crop up with their toddlers, what fixed it for you? This? I know this was a long comment and I thank you for your patience.

Can anyone clarify for me what the code to type in is for this mod to take effect? or am I misinterpreting how to use it..? - lmk if you can & thank you!

to address this, and also hopefully some other concerns:
it looks like the code in the description got broken somehow. dont want to risk it breaking in this comment as well so heres a link to an archived version of the main page with it intact. the code should still be the same.
also keep in mind, if youre using the original version (which seems to still work, at least for me), dont unzip the folder ‒ just put it directly into the mods folder. if youre using the updated version by littlemssam, unzip it & put the .ts4script file in your mods folder.
that being said, if it still doesn't seem to be working, try running the "disallow cc for shower" batch fix in s4s . that should take out some cc (possibly all, but it did miss some for me) from the bathing category. if it missed some things you might have to run the code a few times until you get an outfit without any of it applied. if thats still not working, you could try figuring out which specific items its applying, manually removing the nude tag in s4s (if its not cc, set the type to override; for cc, just overwrite the original file) and make sure to apply to all swatches, and then run the code again. personally i havent had it so bad that ive had to manually remove any tags so im not 100% sure that will work, but i cant see why it wouldnt. if it doesnt, at that point its likely either a deeper issue or a conflicting mod.
i know that probably goes into more detail than necessary, but i wanted to cover everything just in case anyone reading this is new to mods (i definitely remember being pretty lost at first). hope it helps!
