The wonderful thing about the Late Night expansion pack is that I could recreate the little cottages that are on the perimeter of our city in South Australia. There are mainly conjoined with one, or many others and have tiny driveways and courtyards.
My lil' cottage features 2 bedrooms, open plan kitchen and meals area and cute little courtyard with a lap pool. If your sim is like mine and craves a washing machine, there is room in the bathroom to accommodate one and enough space in the yard for the clothes line. I have fully tested this.
APARTMENT CHEAT: I have used the apartment cheat to allow only one of the cottages to be inhabited, and for a much cheaper price. If you need to build or decorate outside, you need this cheat to be able to do that:
Bring up cheat box (shift + ctrl + c): type in testingcheatsenabled true then press enter
Bring up box again, type restrictbuildbuyinbuildings off then press enter.
Modify the house and block how you want then when you're finished bring up the cheat box again and type
restrictbuildbuyinbuildings on
IF you want to access more hidden room markers (which makes the cottage next door blackened out) you need to type in the cheat- buydebug
The block is wider than what it appears but I have made it appear narrower by placing fences and trees on a 'faux' boundary.
*Built on a 25x25 block*
*CUSTOM CONTENT NOT INCLUDED*
*Bedroom rug from VitaSims3 (Lynx Living Collection) can be found here
*Glass vase with flowers (in the kitchen) from Funny at Einfach Simlisch.
No direct link, but you can find it through OBJECTS/DECO-MISC/Page 3. It is in the 'Plants' collection. Website here
Just a couple of buggy things- When using the oven your sims may complain that the overhead cabinet is in the way. I don't know why this is as it's never been a problem, but if you take it away, make them use the oven then replace it while they're cooking, this solves the problem.
Also, when I loaded the lot from the library, the letter box is suspiciously in the driveway Just use the 'moveobjects on' cheat to move it back to the front fence.
I'm not saying this will happen to you, it may just be my game
Other than that, the house has been fully tested with different types of sim families (incuding a toddler)
Thanks for peeking and enjoy

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
