Prints on a Dress

In my continuing saga of doing recolors to add to my game, I decided to do a full dress and add a bit of pastel color with flowery prints to it. This is one of the Maxis dresses found in CAS by going to the Full Body dress -> Short dresses when doing a adult/Young Adult female. Note this is an addition, the original will still be there.



I made up two variations, one with the printed pattern place on the skirt with a wool like substance place on the top to give it more texture. The trim for this is solid color. This variation comes in four color schemes, a peachy look, a light blue, a lime, and a pinkish (which I tried my hardest to be red). Here is the peachy one, which is the master...

The use of Sims 4 Studio makes the process so much simpler, but a good knowledge of a good graphics program (the GIMP in this case) is still required. The patterns come from from FreeGreatPicture.com.

As I learn Blender, hopefully I will be looking at doing meshes for accessories here soon.

As always I use Sims 4 Studio to extract and create the package, GIMP is used to manipulate the texture file (DDS) and Adobe PhotoShop for getting a patterns obtained from Free sites such as FreeGreatPicture.com.
