As requested by p00jkins in another of my threads, here is a Social Work Major for your Sim Uni Students! All the class titles are listed below. It does not replace any major since it is an add-on. The icon is the same as the one of the Psych major cause let's face it, I suck at graphics! :D
Catalog Description and Course Outline:
Social Work: Organized work intended to advance the social conditions of a community, and especially of the disadvantaged, by providing psychological counseling, guidance, and assistance, especially in the form of social services.
Introduction to Social Welfare and Justice
Family Violence and Public Intervention
Family Counseling and Therapy
Social Welfare Policy and Programs
Sim Behavior in the Social Environment
Integrating Policy and Practice
Field Instruction
Senior Thesis
How to Use Custom Majors In Sims 2 University (credit to Poojkins for writing this, with a bit of tweaking by me!)
1.Use SimPE Version 0.30 or newer,
2.Download the major, extract it to your My documents/ea games/the sims 2/downloads folder or any subfolder thereof.
3.In your SimPE/Data folder there should be two files additionalcareers.xml and additionalmajors.xml. Left click on the additionalmajors.xml file and choose to open it in notepad.
4.If you have NEVER used custom majors, erase everything in that file and copy this into it and save:

<item value="0x00061607">Social Work</item>
</alias>
If you already HAVE custom majors, just add this line under all the other lines of existing custom majors before the </alias> tag:

5.Once you have saved it, open SimPE. Open your neighbourhood and click on 'Sim
Description'. (Make sure it is set to 'Plugin View'). Select the sim you want to assign this major to and click on the 'University' tab. There will be a drop down list for all majors. The custom ones will be right at the top. Select the major you want for the Sim and click 'commit'.
Oh and before I forget, this is English version only cause I have no clue how to add languages. While constructive criticism is welcomed, flaming is not, so don't start. Please report back any problems and I'll try to correct ASAP!
