(working fine as at 2 Jan, 2006 with NL installed - except the swingset recolour is flashing blue in n'hood view - solution: change it! The bed is definitely the one that came with Uni and as such some of the meshes may be based on Uni items)

I am happy to present Castle Lag-A-Lot - mostly because I am sick to death of the thing =) I have included a snaps rar if you want to actually look at the full size pics. See further down after my real estate agent spiel for the how-to's of this lot.

Castle Lag-A-Lot is an urban fairytale glass castle for the modern King & Queen. Fashioned exclusively from ancient glass from the forge of Numenor, glass floors based on the work of The Transparent Man RGiles and pointy roof bits from the foundry of Brasstex - the Castle will delight your royal sims and challenge your machine!

The ground floor includes entranceway, dining, living, bar, kitchen, art studio, bathroom and access to the paved patio. Very small, indeed stealthy, stairs whisk you to the first floor and opens out onto the family living and entertainment area with an adjoining office for royal paperwork. The master bedroom features an ensuite with shower and bath and a connecting door to the nursery. The nursey has access to yet another bathroom - this one is shared by the secondary or childs bedroom.

The grounds have been reduced in size from their many thousands of acres to a normal medium sized suburban block. The family burial plot still stands as do the ancient willow trees. Castle Lag-A-Lot is decorated in neutrals and whites with royal splashes of red and features both antiques and modern furnishings in a mish-mash of the old and new.

CASTLE LAG-A-LOT - TECHNICALITIES/HOW TO'S/FILES

1) There will be no zip files - my lots are too BIG for crappy zip files
2) You need to get the recolourable Wrought Iron Stairs installed for this lot. The details/links can be found in the read me file.
3) This lot uses Numenors full length glass windows and doors. See the read me file for details/links.
4) BE WARNED - this lot isn't named Lag-A-Lot for nothing. Glass everything means your video card is drawing many more objects than usual. Changing the floor to an opaque floor and/or removing some/all of the full length windows will help.

File 1 ---Castle L-A-L (Lot file + Build Objects + Maxis Recolours.rar)
Contains the Lot File & Build Objects in a Sims2 Repacked File. Contains a folder named Maxis Recolours with all the Maxis recolour package files within.

File 2 ---Castle L-A-L (Objects pt1)
Contains part 1 of the Object Meshes/Recolours - each creator has an individual folder

File 3 ---Castle L-A-L (Objects pt2)
Contains part 2 of the Object Meshes/Recolours - each creator has an individual folder


INSTALLATION

Don't extract files directly to your Downloads folder =P It means you don't know whats going in there and you end up with all sorts of crap. 1: Install Castle Lag-A-Lot (Lot+Build).Sims2Pack from File 1
2: Place the Recolours and Objects in your Downloads Folder. I personally keep all my meshes sorted by creator as it makes them easy to find when I download recolours for them or want to update them etc.

INSTALLATION
Sipmly install Castle Lag-A-Lot Unfurnished.Sims2Pack from File 4. It contains the lot, build objects, walls, windows, lights, trees etc
