I haven't been doing a good job of keeping up my journal - Sorry!

Date Posted: 16th Dec 2008 at 5:21 PM

I do want everyone to know if you are not finding something you know I created? Please check www.simsvalley3.com, I am working to have all of my creations posted on that site. I do not want to waste space at MTS2 for items that do not have star quality, or have not been very popular. I find it difficult to keep up with everything. So I'd like to try to get everything on one site eventually.

At this time I am not taking requests please do not pm me. If you have a request please post it in the request area on www.simsvalley3.com. Thanks!

Updated Calf

Date Posted: 11th Jan 2008 at 1:38 AM

January 10, 2008 - Updated the ride able option of the Calf, I've added an option to allow children to pet the calf. I've spent days tring to get the animations for the calf to not have the glide appearance but I'm not able to get it perfect. I've also given the child more animation for the ride. I've also added a graze option.

Ride video can be seen here:

Updated Ride Able Cow

Date Posted: 5th Jan 2008 at 9:36 PM

January 5, 2008 - Updated the ride able option of the Cow and added a new graze option. The animations still have a bit of a glide look to them but I think some of you will like it better. I've also recoded this portion to work smoother. Thanks to some suggestions from Echo.

To create smooth animation is extremely hard and takes hours of work. I will try to update each of the animals as soon as time allows.

Updated Rideable Horse

Date Posted: 4th Jan 2008 at 7:05 PM

Updated Jan 4, 2008 - I recoded the riding portion and created new animaitons for the horse. I've also added a graze option. It iss still not perfect but I do think most of you will like it better. Sims no longer disappear when you cancel the action for either riding option. I found the Standard Exit code was causing this problem. If you use boolprop testingcheatsenabled true and the sims exits autonomously it will generate an error of undefined transition as do all of my rideable items. This is something I am just not able to figure out. If you don't use the testingcheat you won't notice any problems.

The horse legs move more often and the start is smoother.

See new video here:

For new graze option see the following:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3FTBxQeHUE

Please let me know your opinions and other possible stances etc you'd like to see.

Yes, I will be updating my other animals as soon as possible.

For the cow in the video you can find it here:

Updated - Rideable Fully Animated Donkey/Custom Sound - Testers Wanted

Date Posted: 20th Dec 2007 at 3:19 AM

Update 12/19/07: After testing I've found that once I use the controller file in game it updates itself to only work with all EP (I have all ep installed). The controller file is 74kb when I start once I end my game it is 193kb. So I have concluded that I have to create the no ep controller and not use it in my game. The new post should work for any combination of EP's. The file BecksRideableDonkey.zip most likely will only work if you have all EP's installed. If you do not have all Ep's please try the file BecksRideableDonkeyNoEP.zip.

I have also added new animations and sound. A new option to have the donkey hee haw and kick. A new riding animation has been added also.
