Back on creating ?

Date Posted: 11th Aug 2011 at 8:04 AM

How ! Hi,
This place is a bit dusty and the windows are grimy but I hope if there's anyone passing by, he/she 's all right and will see the little light on again.
Seems I'm back but don't know for how long .. we'll see and time will tell.
After a "break" then, projects are :
- Update the WallOverlay poster meshes with the information given by BoilingOil (update from him : here)
- Upload a metal recol for BlueTexasBonnie's 360 project.
- upload (maybe) old recoloured material
- see what requests are coming...

If you've ideas for a one shot team-up, I'm all open.
I have also an idea on which I need help and guidance : a new body meshe : Simstickman. Contact me for more.
Be well,
Pix.

Retirement (kind of)

Date Posted: 9th Jun 2009 at 11:39 AM

While I was loosing (temporally) my lodgement and my computer and most of its data (for good) because of a flood, Mts was making its merging and Sims3 was landing.

I'm feeling very much offside. (and a bit depressed, too)

There where several Wip (floor and floor overlay, very damaged zombie skin, bunch of object recolours, walls, of course, ...) mainly for the Purity Project.
Some of them where partially recovered, but the old computer I'm using now barely handle the base game, has a crappy graphic card and don't allow bump mapping... Even the drawing tablet doesn't respond well
So I won't be able to contribute to this project as I would like to. Fortunately my partners (Blutexasbonnie, Echo and Sweetswami77) have brought very cool content and I want to thanks them for letting me be part of it.

Maybe it's time for me to let go and retire from creation...

At least I've uploaded the last part of TXMT guide about object Bump Mapping.
I hope it will be useful to some of you.
You'll find it here

Thanks to everyone for support and encouragement, all these years :lovestruc

May all beings be happy !

Stuck in despair...

Date Posted: 4th Mar 2009 at 6:28 PM

It's about two months that I'm struggling with texture animation, particularly with the rotation animation.
No matter what settings I choose, I can't make the texture rotate on a centred axis (like the Maxis test object found by Numenor).

Out of logic, axis of rotation in my tests are always on the border or off the texture.

I've made hundreds (really!) tests with different objects and surface, changing all the possible parameters, combining the different transform animation (rotate, scale, translate). Nothing.
I've send a couple of messages in a bottle for help.
Hunting for info on Internet wasn't fruitful.

I'm frustrated, I have a few idea with vortex and moving gear that I won't be able to make. But most of all, the hard part for me is not understanding why.
My nickname starts to take full meaning now...

Razor wire screenshots

This place is filled with talented persons. And some are really overbooked. Despite their gigormous to do list, they find time and availability to help or satisfy others.
In this self-centred world, I find it touching... especially when I directly benefit fom it

I was hoping to have barbed wire fence for about 4 years, Thanks to Jason it's now reality.
Big hug, Brother

A request...

Date Posted: 25th Jun 2008 at 11:18 PM

Dear readers,

It's been some time that I'm encumbering this nice and generous place with my little graphic insanity. It's slowly hitting it's limits.
I've been fantasizing on meshing since the beginning but I never gave myself a serious chance to learn and practice. I probably will never do. I'm too old, too slow and too unconfident...

But there's a wish and dream I have for long.
An object. I have the free mesh in .obj.
It's barbed wires. It could be so perfect for fence. Or deco object. I so like to see this in game.
I don't have the abilities to convert it in a package. I tried but it failed deplorably.

So here's my request:
I beg Anyone who feels to team up with me or feels like doing it on is own to PM me.
Please. It would be like an ice topping.

With hope,
Pixel.
