OMG Late

I have to leave in half an hour, I'm still eating breakfast AND I have to walk the dog... why am I writing this Journal? Can you say obsessed? Anyways... I'm such a procrastinator, I wish I slept at 12 instead of 4 AM and woke up at 8 instead of 10:30.

Terrain Paint

Date Posted: 19th Sep 2009 at 11:01 PM

It's just like the title says, a tutorial on terrain paints to make your lot look a little more natural and I added a little bit of landscaping. I do the terrain paint in layers.

-This is what your lot looks like after terrain paints and landscaping.

-This is what it looks like before you do anything to it.

-Go to Terrain Paints and pick light dirt. Cover the entire lot.

-Take some weeds and do some patches of it.

-Next paint some more patches with a different terrain paint. Do this is as many times as you want. I put autumn grass but you can choose whichever one you like

-I did it one last time with Short Dark Grass.

-With a terrain paint of your choice, click and drag to make a path.

-Choose the terrain paint you used as grass and, instead of clicking and dragging just click to make little patches on the path. It makes it look faded and more natural.

-Add some flowers

-Use dark dirt to put some soil under your flowers.

-If it looks empty add some trees, and put some dark dirt and pine needles under them.

-I put some little flowers and grass under the tree.

-And here's the final product. Add some more shrubs, flowers and trees to your liking.

Web page

Date Posted: 4th Sep 2009 at 2:30 AM

Ugh, I've never made and ACTUAL web page before. The only experience I have is like piczo, zuup and a little bit of HTML. I learned Java last year but I'm not really sure how to use it on a webpage. I would like to know if anyone has any advice or tips and stuff. I've created this header from which is not bad but it's not that good. =/

I love stairs

Date Posted: 9th Aug 2009 at 4:24 AM

Hey guys! The first house I uploaded on MTS for Sims 3 is called 'The Miller', the plan is taken from and I named it after the original house. Right now I'm trying to fix up this starter home I built, the roof was really hard to make. I also started up a new house which has crazyyy stairs. Hopefully they will be good enough for me to upload on MTS.

Thanks a lot to the Moderators and the MTS community for feedback and help =]. I'm hoping to get better at building houses, I just like building and watching how Sims adapt to their surroundings.

So, yeah. For now all I have is that one house called 'The Miller' and... hopefully a starter home going to be called... 'Shack on Stilts...?' and my new project... well you'll see. I'm going to try and keep it a secret until it's all finished and ready for downloading... *crosses fingers*.

Anyways, gotta wake up bright and early tomorrow.. so time for bed
Good night, all! :D
