When I first saw this R4 shell I was, like, Huh? She wants us to do what? With ...this???
I went down the list of options and kept scratching my head
Then I thought of my theme - EPSCOT - and did quite a bit of
I blindly went into the lot and started messin' around - this is what I came up with
I had so much FUN building this - I hope you all will enjoy it too...
Front and back views showing my 'Kid's Kingdom' lot next door.
The realSplitsville is located at Downtown Disney, not in EPCOT at all; but, as this is my Simmed version - it works. For me, at least!
The kitchen is tiny, but everything works well: Chef cooked up a storm, diners enjoyed their dinners, and waiters used the dishwasher. Because it's not an 'owned' lot (yet) I couldn't direct anyone to fill the decra-chill; so the cashier was a little bored. I had originally planned to fill it with cakes, but that would've involved the use of CC. There are 2 doors in/out the kitchen to help alleviate congestion. The employee bathroom is located behind the white door.
Public restrooms are tucked into one end of the building; ladies features 2 stalls, gents has both a stall and a urinal. Outside you'll find the hostess station (just out of view on the right side of the above picture,) several dining tables, highchairs, a rockin' DJ, and stimulating dance floor - all decked out with colorful festive flair! The weather is most always nice - especially in the cooler evenings - outside dining is the norm here at EPSCOT.
There is a covered walkway along the back of the building. It leads to the 2 kitchen doors, another door that opens right next to the elevator, and around to the far side of the building - where you will find the employee break area and a gated entrance to the lot for employee use only.
We had a small crowd on opening night - which was just as well! The outside DJ area (originally set up as a live band - as seen in the picture above - let's just say ...their contract was not renewed *sigh*) anyway, the DJ is much more experienced at getting people out on the floor shakin' their groove thangs!
Then we had "Ladies Night" (well, afternoon, actually! LOL!) The ladies were burning up the allies and racking up body skill points while waiting for their food to arrive.
Overhead shot of the ground floor's floor plan.
Overhead shot of the 2nd floor - the Blue Lanes. Note there are outdoor dining areas on each level's balcony - which also serves as a comfy place to gather while waiting for a lane to open.
The 3rd/top floor overhead shot - the Red Lanes.
This lot is designed to fulfill the 'Cool Cuisine' requirements - it is a restaurant for the whole village.
It includes - at least 3 tables with sufficient chairs, cooking stove, restaurant podium. And includes - booth seating, bar, and dance-floor area.
It is completely CC free. Walls and floors are EAxis. The highchairs are defaulted with a bed-matching deal, but isn't white padding one of the original options?
I put in 10 pictures because it's a 3-story lot. I think that's right? If I need to remove one, just let me know I hope you like it!
