Default Aging: Never?!
Basically my sim age is set to NEVER, after returning from university! I tried simreset, aging up, adjusting age span, moving houses, switching between active houses ...

In case you didn't tried this: Turn off the aging from options menu, reset the town, turn the game off. Clean cache files, launch the game again, reset town, turn aging on back again and reset the town for second time.

Sims age is being frozen while being at university, so this bug appears often after they return home.

You should try "Clear Travel Statistics" in case you have Nraas DebugEnabler (not recommended if you have progress in WA worlds or other), or try to use a cleaner for the save files - personally I use Reguls save cleaner. Just remember to do a backup before trying any of this!

If you have Nraas Debug, go to city hall and open Nraas> Debug Enabler> Options City Hall. Aging on/ off is first in drop menu.

In case that did not help so far, sometimes going to edit town, evicting the household, then moving it straight back in can resolve a lot of sim related hiccups.
