for those who have errors on running the The Sims 3 Create-A-World Tool this Fix is for YOU!!

here's what its written:

Fix for error message: Your Currently Installed Version of the Game is not Compatible
(this is for all EP and SP that installed in your Sims 3 base game)
Patch 1.50 above...

STEP 1: uninstall if you have already the CAW tools or
download the new version of TS3CAW.
STEP 2: Install the TS3CAW, just double click the 'worldtool.exe'
then run it.
(note: if the issue is the game version then just proceed this guide).
(but if the issue is the following message that states
"The Sims 3 game data not found. The Sims 3 Create a World tool - beta may not function properly.")
proceed for references below.

STEP 3: after the installation there will be popup or something says that your game version
is not compatible with your current game version or you might download the
latest version of TS3CAW tool.

STEP 4: don't panic, let's get started...
-first thing you'll gonna do is go to the
sims 3 base game directory and find the "Default.ini"(iwthout the quotation)
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin

-then look open it in any word editor(notepad,wordpad or notepad ++)
then scroll down upto the last and look for this:

[Basegame Config text]
CompatVersion = 21 <--- that's my current game version
WorldBuilderCompatibilityVersion = 18 <------ current game version

-then copy the two digits, and now in the same directory but
the folder is The Sims 3 Create A World Tool Folder and look for the
"Default.ini" then open it in any word editor, scroll down upto the last
then paste there your game version digits

[TS3CAW Config text]
CompatVersion = 15 <------- paste it here
WorldBuilderCompatibilityVersion = 12 <-------- paste it here

then save..

(NOTE: important you have to backup those INI files before editing it.)

Thank you for the contribution, we appreciate the effort.

But since we already have a thread for this issue in CAW and Sims 3 Version Mismatch Work-Around, I'm going to go ahead and lock this one. Anyone who needs help with this issue, please continue to seek help there. Plus, it is out of place here.
