Default 6-Panel Doors and Door-Height 2-Pane Windows
Something I noticed annoyingly missing in Sims 3 is the most generic 6-panel doors and windows who's top line up with that of the doors.

Not sure if this is a region/country thing, but almost every house I have ever seen has 6-panel doors, which look like this:

I have checked here and on TSR (all 24 pages of doors it would show me), as well as tried a Google search, which lead me to this page (exactly what I am looking for, but this is for Sims 2), some other random doors, and the image above, which is originally from Home Depot's website, and of coarse Google's random other results.
I am looking for these 6-panel doors in both single and double variants (sliding pocket (door slides INTO wall when open) variant would be amazing as well).

I am also looking for some 2-pane windows which line up with the top of the doors. Similarly to the 6-panel doors, almost every house I have ever seen in reality has the tops of the windows and doors at the same height.
Notice how these windows are placed into the wall so that the top of them lines up with the top of the doors:

Here are two examples of some very common windows that I would like. Both are the same style, but of varying heights (this is the most common style, and the 2 most common sizes of them):

I found a house in my area for sale, so there are plenty of pictures of the interior which show some great examples of something I'd like to be able to build, showing off the style of door and window in various rooms/uses:
Bedroom with 6-panel doors and medium-sized 2-pane window:

Kitchen with 6-panel doors and small 2-pane window:

Living room and dining area with 15-panel glass door (the most common window door in my area, this would also be a nice one to have) and large 2-pane windows:

Notice how all of the doors and windows in the house line up at the top.
You may also notice that these windows do NOT have a full frame around them, only the lower trim. It would be great if the windows (if they exist) would also be available like this, but if not, that would be fine, too.

If anyone can help me find these, I would be very grateful! These would be the single most common build objects I would use in my current project (a world based in my area).

Nice! Thank you very much. Those look nice. It unfortunately seems that there are no double variants. It might also just be that the preview does not show them. I also found what appears to be another set of doors, as well as a set of arches:

I should do some testing in-game to see what all this is.

The doors are... interesting. They have an odd texture which can be somewhat masked in Create-a-Style. They use a plain pure white texture rather than a wood texture by default. They also do not have a double variant.

When changing the texture, these can look quite good. I look forward to building a house with them. All I need now is some nice windows to match. I have found several windows of the right style, but none of them line up to the doors correctly and all of them have some "fancy" trim.
I think I might need to find me a guide on making doors and windows and how to use TSRW.

So I don't know if you have these but the Now and Then Century Manor from the Sims store has windows that are single that are similar to what you are looking for..https://store.thesims3.com/setsProd...&section=UpSell.

Also this set looks like it might work. A few creators at TSR have something similar in the windows. https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...all/id/1076450/

Nice! I do have the the Century Manor, and the windows from it do fit nicely, but they are only available in one size.

One issue with the set there, and the window they are based on, it goes nearly to the ceiling (which makes sense, given the name "Rise High the Window"), rather than lining up with the top of doors.
I do like the different sizes, though.

That set is similar to one I found last night and just started testing out today, found here. These windows also do not line up perfectly with the doors, but they are close. There is also several sizes and even open variants.

I do like these sets, even if they don't line up with the doors (which is the primary thing I am looking for). I like the idea of adding variety to the windows already in the game (there have been all too many times when building a kitchen and being very upset that the only window that is of the right style exposes the back of the counter). Thank you for sharing that set.

You're Welcome! Yes I have had that issue as well. The set you picked I had in my game before. The ones I'm currently using are from here https://www.thesimsresource.com/art...skipsetitems/1/ what I like about these sets are you can put them right next to each if a double of the version you use isn't available to give the appearance of a double window. She has a few sets that I have installed the Asarina Build Set, the Scania Build Set windows and doors, and the maxime build sets. With those three I get a pretty decent variety of windows and doors similar to what you are looking for.

I do have the Monaco Builtset and the Asarina Buildset

The Monaco Builtset looks very similar (almost identical) to the Maxime Buildset (to me, at least). However, the downside to the two above sets is that the windows only really fit well with the doors in the same set, all of which are practically floor-to-ceiling. This completely ruins the style I am trying to go with. However, if the Maxime Buildset has normal-height doors and the windows line up with those doors (as they do in the images of it), then it might work out quite well.

Here is a screenshot of a house I finished building in the style I am working on:

Here are some pictures of the house in reality:

I found a set that is almost perfect!
The Perfect Window Add-on

However, ALL of these have the arch over the top. Does anyone know of a set like this (based on the same window) but without the arch (or maybe, how I could go about removing the arch myself)?

What about these? https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...d-on/id/924521/
I use the door in my game but the windows have that frame that I don't like.

I've had the same difficulty finding matching windows and doors that line up the way I want them to. I've had to mix and match.

That looks good! Thank you.
I do like the frame, and how nicely they line up with the doors. The only thing here that I don't like so much is the window itself being just one pane covering the full size, but I can get over that with how well they flow.

You say you use the doors, but not the windows, and had to do some "mix and match" to get windows and doors that fit together? What windows do you use?

There’s an Aria door and window set where the windows and door tops are all the same height, the doors come in singe and double and there are many different sizes of windows. The frame is fairly simple, there are grids at the top and bottom of the windows and glass doors, but the middle is one large piece of glass. They are on TSR, and the creator is Mutske:

Some of my favorite windows are:

Grant Park - https://www.b-5studio.com/search/label/Grant%20Park
Florida Windows - https://jenba.tumblr.com/post/53327...ws-happy-summer
Victorian Windows & Doors - https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...ms3/id/1171535/
Miami Beach Windows - https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...13519/order/ID/
Panorama Windows & Door - https://www.thesimsresource.com/art...set/id/1065439/
Pocci's SunnyDay Windows and Scent of Spring Windows - can be downloaded via Sweetdevils archive - https://sweetdevil-sims.tumblr.com/tagged/reupload
Rise High the Window - https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...ch/high%20rise/
Windough - https://www.thesimsresource.com/dow...-on/id/1189432/

But I use bits and pieces of lots of different windows & doors sets. I'm partial to counter height windows. Most come from Mutske@TSR.

The Victorian and Miami Beach windows line up pretty well with the Belhooven Door.

Thank you for sharing those!
I will definitely check them out the next time I load up my game (download and merge them, then install, and start the game).

I like those screenshots. Nice little trailer park.

I have been building some houses for the past few days which have been a nice test of some of the doors and windows posted here. I have made a thread with a lot of screenshots on each house. It is a kind of continuation of the house in post 9 of this thread.
I figured I would post a link to the thread here so that you can see what I have come up with using the doors and windows posted here.
I still have 6 more houses to build.
