An account where? You don't need an account to view that page or download the mod.

I know I never needed an account before, but when I click the download, I get this....

When I click the link down at the bottom (V11), it brings up a window to save it. That's it.

The dialogue you got says that the download is in progress... Try closing the prompt to log in (x in the corner) and see if you can still download it without logging in.

It's Google Chrome that now is being my mommy, and decided I can't download! I tried both links before. Clicking as you say, the page flashes, and nothing. I opened Duck Duck, and THAT worked.

I swear things were easier in the old days! I find that chrome doesn't seem to work on many websites I frequent, so I haven't used it for a while. I'm glad you got the file!

It was actually @quickaccount that was looking. I have the main files but wanted to look at the adoptive file to see if I could adapt it to allow nanny bots to breast feed. )))

To the various peoples, I actually have Nona's breastfeeding mod.
I really like it, it is a must-have for me.
I just wish it was updated by someone / that there could be more to it, like the other mod I mentioned.

Mod that lets you put different colored roofs on buildings within the same lot, to distinguish the buildings from one another. I sometimes like to make 64x64 lots each with a little building that has it's own style to it. Having to have all the roofs match is annoying sometimes.
It's one thing if I want the aesthetic to look like a shopping center where all the buildings were built at the same time by the same company; but if I want it to look like, for example, some of the residential houses in Crown Heights New York (just do a google image search, you'll eventually see what I mean) it gets more difficult.

Honestly, I find it weird in general that roofs aren't castable. Anyone know the technical reason for that?

Yes, please! I wonder why EA didn't make it like it was in TS2. I miss making half landing stairs without the need of CFE..

not a mod, but a tool; i wish there were importer plugins that let me directly export objects and other non-CAS meshes using modern blender (i.e. 2.8 and later)
old blender's controls scare me, and i'd prefer not to deal with exporting to milkshape (and learning the software just for this)

Unfortunately, I get an error when using the newer .wso Blender plugin, so had to start learning MS to do a project that I very much wanted. How much YOU want something is the key. Converting some basic objects from .obj to .wso isn't hard with Wes Howe's MS plugins. Try it.

Wall-height options would be cool too. Like in ts4.
I'm fully aware that you can use the cheat code "constrainfloorelevation false" to make different heights walls for buildings; I have used it before but I still find it super wonky, I'm not very good at it, and certain wall coverings aren't compatible with artificially adjusted wall heights.

EA should just take the best things from all the sims games and turn them into TS5.
  • TS2 story lines, possibly cinematic mode, and genetics
  • TS3 Open-world (just make the worlds smaller!) and various career-related aspects
  • TS4 Create-A-Sim and Build/Buy Mode
  • I don't know anything about TS1, sorry. Perhaps the cake dancer thing.
  • Having 2 relationship status bars; one platonic one romantic/lust.
  • etc. etc. y'all probably can think of more than me, I'm just a Sims 3 player who watches Sims 4 content.

Mod that makes plastic surgery meaningful in the game.
Ideally sim having wants to get certain surgery (nose job, lose weight, whatever) and for them to either have a positive moodlet afterwards, or a negative moodlet. Maybe having to stay in hospital for an extended period of time to heal. The possibility of regretting having a surgery done. Mean and/or snobby sims being able to make suggestions for others to have plastic surgery as an insult. Sim who gets the surgery being able to 'show off new self' in some way. If it could be done in such a way as to not mess with genetics Activates a memory somehow, or a before & after picture is generated for posterity....

Okay, I know this isn't the right place to post this question, but it's semi-related.

I want to uninstall a mod, and I cannot figure out where I put the file.I found a different smoking mod to replace the listed mod above.

Usually I can just go to my mods folder and use the search engine to find the exact file location, then I go to that location and remove the file(s) as desired.

Yet, for some reason, I CAN'T FIND THE INTENDED FILE IN MY MODS FOLDER?!? If I type in "cmomo" to try and find the file, the only thing that shows up is pose player. (Which also makes no sense to me....)


I have no idea how to find the file if the search function isn't working. Advise, please, on how to remove.

Have you tried searching with other search terms like 'cigar' or 'smoke'/'smoking', or even an incomplete word like 'smok' or 'smo', etc...?

Yes. The only files popping up are related to decorative objects that I found a while ago, not the actual mod file. I have tried just going through all my folders/sub-folders and looking for it manually, and I can't find it either. I'm super confused as to how I seem to have a mod in my game with no relevant file attached to it....

Have you checked the Overrides folder? Not sure if it's possible for it to show up in game when installed there, but is it possible you've accidentally installed it in that folder?

A security blanket to ward off monsters for kids who insist on checking for monsters under the bed right before bedtime. I mean, it's cute but that 'can't sleep in this bed for 2 hours' is a problem when there isn't a bed to spare and the kid's about to fall over from exhaustion.

New here, but figured I'd post here. Something I've been hunting for and surprised doesn't exist yet is a package/mod to allow the usage of the Plumbot body + body parts for Simbots. In my searching, all I could seem to find were threads along the lines of "How to turn my Simbot/Plumbot into having a human body." which is unfortunate.

The good news is, I've found out a way to (almost fully) do it with Master controller (Probably need the cheats module not sure off the top of my head).

1. Starting with a Simbot (Couldn't get it to work by just making a human sim a simbot via add occult, there might be a way), enter Create A Sim via NRAAS - Mastercontroller - Advanced

2. Set the sim age to ADULT (not young adult), this will now allow the Plumbot occult to be added.

3. Exit CAS, and add the Plumbot occult through the intermediate sim menu.

4. Re-enter CAS, it should now be Create a Plumbot. Customize the bot however you want. (When the process is all done, you will not be able to edit the plumbot without restarting the process).

5. Once done designing your shiny new bot, initiate a world transition, like a vacation

6. After the world transition, return back to your homeworld

7. Upon return, you will no longer have the Plumbot occult, but keep the body, letting you live normally as a Simbot, without worrying about trait chips and getting to keep regular traits/personality. You can re-enter CAS to change your name, since it will likely have been reset, dont touch anything else to be safe.

8. Your lifetime wish box might be broken, but you can switch lifetime wish using NRAAS and switch back to fix it, this will probably reset progress on it though

Of course, I said almost fully for a reason. The eye/face expressions of the Plumbots will no longer work, which is a big bummer. You also lose the ability to do the Plumbot unique interactions, which is a double bummer. This is why I started *trying* to see if I could figure a mod out, to not have to deal with the tedious process and to get 100% of the way there instead of 90%. Sadly, I quickly realized it was way beyond the scope of my abilities, not exactly in my field.

I hope such a mod could be made someday, letting me (easily) have better looking Simbots, or rather, Plumbots with a fleshed out personality and not trait chips, while retaining the FaceFX and Unique interactions. I'd probably call them Splumbots, that's what I named the project I started working (mostly just staring at NET reflector) on.

Easiest way to put it, is that Simbots are Sims in a bot suit, and Plumbots are refrigerators... basically, controlable objects, in many ways, which is why they have a separate CAS. Parts don't mix and match from one to the other, especially, Plumbot arms = Sim shoes, and Plumbot head = Sim hair. Most Plumbot heads only have 4 or 5 bones. The eye movements are FX.

I've made Plumbot parts (xps and mmd model conversions, and Sim parts as bot), but have never done anything with Simbots. Might take a look at your research. The big issue with the Plumbot conversions on the web are that they always lose their bot motives and revert to Sim motives after travel.

Alice is a 5 group, 3 shader Plumbot that I use as my ITF nanny bot. Body is Kuroyu style MMD bot found on DeviantArt, head is a repurposed Sim head, and hair is also repurposed Sim hair. No morphs, but many sliders work. This type of body can be converted to a Sim, however the poly count is way too high for morphs to be added, and trying to lower count leaves a mess.
