i finally bought a copy of it and downloaded a mod called 'garry's mod'. it is really fun cause' you can freeze the physics, burn stuff, spwn stuff, etc. i think that it is the most versitile mods for Hl2 cause' you can do so much, including funny screenshots.

I kid, of course. It's probably just because I have a jury-rigged Half-Life 2 setup from a friend that I was able to get STEAM removed from. I can't play it online, of course, which eliminates things like CS:S, but frankly, there's not enough appeal behind that to convince me to give STEAM another chance.

Now, if someone happened to release The Specialists: Source....that would be different.

i wanna get rid of it too because... well long story short 'im in an IT class at school so i get to take and use my own laptop at school' and i do computers on tuesday afternoons instead of sport and when i want to play GM i open up steam and the bloody thing says that it cant connect to the internet so it gives me two choices 'try again' or 'start steam in offline mode', so of course i click 'start stem in offline mode' and the dumb thing says it can't connect to the steam network...'THATS WHY I CLICKED START STEAM IN OFFLINE MODE!!!!!' *calms down* well as you can see steam really does suck!

OK, steam has really done it this time... NOW those dumb asses have made a new update for steam which only changes the skin... but now most peoples precious third party games don't work... WOW you have really f$#ked it up for us this time... so now we CANT PLAY GARRYS MOD!, arrrggghhh! my life is over
