This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Beach missing from game
I installed all The Sims 2 expansions and stuff packs on my windows 7 computer and I can get the game to load but there is no beach in my neighbourhood. My new computer was designed for me and has the best graphics card. Has anyone had this problem and did u fix it or does anyone else know of some fixes. Thanx :D

Could you please explain what you mean by "beach". Perhaps a picture would help us to understand your problem.

It sounds like this may be a graphical issue. Many computers these days come with an integrated graphics chip, in addition to a real graphics card. Are you sure that the game is using your card?

OK, it really looks like you are unhappy about the graphics quality. Do you know whether your computer has an integrated graphics chip? Have you looked at the thread which explains how to ensure that your game is using your graphics card and not the integrated graphics chip?

That thread is for Nvidia. I don't have Nvidia. The AMD tutorial below it is an older card then mine and my control panel doesn't look the same.

Do you know whether you have an integrated graphics chip in your computer, along with your graphics card? Perhaps you should provide a copy of your system specs:

Doesn't the new control panel have similar functionality?

OK, it doesn't show an integrated graphics card, so let's assume that's not the problem (unless you can find evidence that you have an integrated graphics chip on your motherboard).

Another possibility is that the game is not recognizing your card, and therefore is underestimating its capabilities. Here's an article about fixing that problem:
