Default Creating clothing recolors but don't know how to remove reflections.
Is there any way to remove the material/reflection on this clothing?
I use the Sims 4 Studio to create this re-color.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

I haven't done this myself, but I'll give you my "I think" answer.

If you open your created .package up in s4pe and look at the images you'll find one which shows the shadows the item creates. If you export the dds you can edit out what you want.

That picture is a self shadow, not a specular. Since the shape of the item did not change one wouldn't need to edit it in this case.

Not sure whether editing the spec would work (there is one image format right now that is not editable, but I don't remember which one) but there are tutorials in the Tutorials forum about how to find/remove bump maps and speculars. I'd suggest following those to the point where you find the image you want, and then see whether or not it is editable.

Unfortunately, we can't edit the specular, which is a real pain. It's in some weird format that nobody among our toolmakers has figured out yet. You can actually get as far as exporting it and editing it in your graphics program, but then when you try to re-import it, you get an error - really frustrating!

auntielynds, you need to get yourself the current version of s4pe - the screenshot you show is of an old outdated version, with all those UNKN labels. The current version will show those resources with their correct names such as RLE2 (the texture files and shadow file, which are the editable .dds files) and RLES, which is that dreaded uneditable specular file. You'll also have a more updated CASP resource with more editable parameters.

I didn't realize there was a package editor for the Sims 4. Thank you auntielynds for pointing that out!

I found the specular resource within the package or recolor I'm working on.
Unfortunately Esmeralda and plasticbox are right, you cannot edit the specular (RLES) image/resource. I attempted to edit the resource but returned an error.
I wanted the specular gloss to be removed so I deleted the specular resource to see if it works.

...And that seems to work. This is exactly how I wanted it to look!

@FoxTail8000 would you consider sharing your package file (with those tops) and allowing us to recolor it?

@Davinia
Sorry for the uber late reply. Here's the link to the recolor. http://www.mediafire.com/download/k...recolor.package
