Default Sims 4 Flat Roof
I have looked all over the web and found some Youtube videos about making a flat roof. Someone even suggested flattening a hipped roof. I did that, looks lame. Does anyone know of a tutorial that is easy to understand that can help build a flat roof, like the ones in Oasis Springs?

Yeah, this is what I meant. Also, the roof on the Landgraab house in Oasis Springs, the flat roof part. I tried to use just floor tiles, but the game would not let me add roof trim . The roof that you have on your second floor patio is what I was trying to do.

So here's what you need to do to create that.

Build your house as you always would and give all the top level rooms ceilings. For the patio area build it as a room with walls and then use the fence tool that replaces the whole length of the wall to place the railing. Then that trim you see is here:

The part that's sticking up on the rest of the roof is just a fence that you can find here:

Thanks so much! I'll give it a try and hopefully end my frustration.

I think your turquoise house is beautiful. Do you have it for download?

I made a house with a flat roof and I just placed a fence around the top and it looked OK, I thought. I didn't have any bother placing the fence up there instead of on the ground. Am I misunderstanding something here? I didn't build any extra walls up there.
