Default WCIF any of jfade's hacks? (Wardrobe Wrangler, Compressorizer, etc)
His website is posted as an archive, but all of the sidebar links just reroute to the main page again. I'm hoping there's a legitimate repost of some of his hacks at another site. Thanks!

Have you tried searching online?

I was able to find a mirror for wardrobe wrangler here:
http://sims-by-izza.livejournal.com/29344.html

Unfortunately can't find the compressorizer ):

It looks like the OP is already aware of that, Marka93, as stated in the first post.

@beradan You could try looking at the Wayback Machine archives of that site to get some working download links, others seem to have had luck with that. PM me if you need anything specific not posted here.

I can confirm the validity of PinkpalaceLizzie's link. In fact, I'm the one who clicked Agree and Helpful on it...because that archived site version, which is apparently maintained by jfade himself, is the one I still use (and just used again a minute ago). The sidebar links all work for me, none of the pointless redirection the OP mentioned.

(Btw, that's different for me than the one in marka's post, which goes to a "Not found" message.)

Edited one final time to tidy things up with the below button, plus this tl;dr version of the button's contents: Did find a bug with jfade's archived version that turned to be exclusive to Opera. Wrote him and he fixed it; see the next post in the thread for details. His archival site should now function normally for all users, using the link that Lizzie provided above.

Double-posting to paste in jfade's response to me, because he states he would have posted himself but for login difficulties. (Thanks, jfade, for your fast response and quick fix! You and your work continue to be very appreciated here.)

Hey nat,

Well, several things going on here. The site was broken for a while in 2016 due to some server move nonsense (referenced in that thread with the first posts), but I fixed it somewhere along the way. Then I recently made an HTML archive version because the PHP script that powered the site was no longer supported and would break soon. So it's now a static HTML site with, I thought, no javascript or server-side anything.

However, there was an old hit counter on the homepage only. This script was no longer valid, but because it was there in the code, browsers were blocking it out of safety since it was loaded over http instead of https. The interesting thing is that on Firefox, Chrome and Safari, they would block the script and then everything would continue to work normally. However, on Opera, the browser simply blocked everything the user tried to do. So I went in, updated the code and removed that script reference. Now the site appears to work on Opera normally.

I'd post on the thread you referenced but evidently I don't know my password anymore, and the reset tool says my birthday is incorrect, so I'm guessing I used a fake birthday back in the day.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
