Hi, could anyone point me to a fix for the lighting on the basegame Basegame Independent Expressions Shop Window please? The outside of the frame is in shadow, but the inside is lit.

I'm sure I used to have one, but seem to have lost it somewhere, and all searches led to nothing.

Thanks for the quick reply @HugeLunatic but unless I'm mistaken that fixes a different issue to the one I'm having. My problem is not that the window doesn't let light through correctly but rather that the frame is dark on the outside (where there is natural light) and light on the inside (in an unlit room). This pic is probably clearer- this is the white colour option but the outside looks dark grey:


I did find your fix earlier today and put it in game to test, but it seemed to have no effect. I have all EPs and SPs too.

Have you found the fix simsample? Was recently brought to my attention again and have been poking at the files, but if the fix exists. :D

Hi @HugeLunatic No, I haven't found a fix yet!

Test this? It has a mesh fix as well as a cres fix, so you will most likely need to rebuy. Not sure if just picking up and replacing will work.

Brilliant! The indoor lights now illuminate the window frame! It works!

And looks great at night too (outdoor lights illuminate the windows of a dark room correctly).

Edit: Replicating my original image- you can see how the room illuminates and the window frame is lighted appropriately.
