Default Bon Voyage - Jewelry Bin Numbers
I figured I'd post these here to help anyone who might be looking to properly bin their jewelry for Bon Voyage. I admit there's still much unknown about the jewelry but this is what I've managed to decipher so far. This is not a tutorial but just a sharing of information that someone might be able to make use of. I've tried to be as accurate as possible using the Maxis descriptions. As I learn more I'll try to clarify things like what finger each ring goes on, etc.

Thank you! I haven't been able to install my game yet, no time, too much RL right now

Well, here's something crappy. It seems the jewelry doesn't show up in Body Shop. I guess we'd have to do it the old fashion way of making accessories and just re-bin the jewelry to the proper bins for it to turn up. I'll investigate this further once I finish up a few projects I'm right in the middle of.

The brow rings work the same as the nose and lip rings. There is no left and right section. In the game you can't have both a left and a right brow ring because they are in the same category. Personally, I think it's dumb that they both set it up this way and didn't include a variant for both left and right. Same with the lip piercings.

Edit: And it also sucks they didn't update Body Shop for jewelry... Bleh.

I was SO p***ed when I learned that the jewellery wasn't accessable in Bodyshop!

But I'll use the information you've gathered for a couple of experiments in the nearest future... Thanks a lot!

It probably depends on how they were made. If it's both earrings together the meshes would probably have to be made into a left and right ear mesh in order for them to work as intended. Necklaces and stuff probably wouldn't be as much of a problem since they don't use the left right sorting in Bon Voyage.

There's really no need to do anything. They still work in Bon Voyage unless you put them in a bin original that Maxis started using with this expansion. Jfade has posted some information about updating the jewelry here it also contains alot more useful information than just the bin numbers such as making your jewelry buyable only in the Far East or making it a collectible item. Lots of useful info.
