Is there any way to TEACH a massage technique you learned on vacation to another sim at home? Without cheating.

Is there any way to make a community lot (not a vacation lot) where you can learn the other massage techniques from the NPC without having to go on a vacation?

Since were on the topic of massage tables, I was also wondering if you can make a massage business for OFB o_o

lazzybum, there is a way to make such a business, but you have to have playable sims give the messages.

Doc Doofus, I don't think there is. I think there are basic message techniques that your sims might already know, but otherwise you have to go on vacation to learn the special messages.

EDIT: lazzybum, you can assign employees to give messages. So yes.

Doc Doofus, all sims know one message. You can only learn the other ones on vacation.

I had made a hair salon in my main neighbourhood with a sauna and a massage table, and sent one of my Sims to it. Sadly there doesn't appear to be an option to learn massages when you go to click on the NPC.
Glad they brought back the massage table though, that's one of the main TS1 things I wanted to see in TS2.

I set up an OFB business run by a Sim (Dustin Broke, whaddaya know...) who had learned Deep Massage on vacation. So, yes, you can set up an OFB massage business. HOWEVER, you can only sell the basic Swedish Massage, even if your Sim knows all the other massages.

Perhaps we need a hack here, eh? (hint)

That happened on a community sim-owned business lot. I haven't tried doing it at home as a business, yet. Maybe that will allow you to sell the other massages.

I have a Sim in one neighborhood who has learned all 3 maybe I'll have her open a home business and see what happens.
