Recovering deleted sims in Sims 3
Recently, I discovered how to make your sims reappear after you deleted them using the cheat "moveobjects on/off". Caution If you delete your sims this way, you lose EVERTHING in your inventory. Anyways, after you delete the sim, go to options menu, select "edit town". Select the house or lot where the sim lives(The deleted sim will show in the family picture), then select "split up household". Move the sim onto the clip board then place them back into the house or lot.

If your trying to recover a sim living in a house or lot alone this method should work as well.

Thank goodness i never had to delete any of my sims.
I did have a sim stuck in the porch kneehigh, after she kicked a gnome,
and after i could not get her to move.
I turned on testingcheats, and had her "teleport" somewhere else.
Which worked like a charm

did you ever get this fixed? i have a sim who is in labor and just keeps screaming. i have tried moving her out and back in, deleting her, doing the reset sim cheat and nothing has worked. she just keeps screaming. if she goes to the hospital she stays there and all her bars start going down slowly

if anyone has any other ideas please let me know? thanks!

You can use awsomemod and write in the code falconpunch while she is active to terminate the pregnancy. It is not updated for the patch yet but it is in testing.

I'm not even sure the person you are thanking is around anymore, considering that the post from a year ago was just another necro to say thanks. As was the post from 2 years ago. At this point, doing what you can to help someone else is probably a better way to say thanks. It's nice that you were able to save your sim, though.

Side question about pregnant sims. I have turned Story Progression and Aging off in game option. When my sim is pregnant, does she stay pregnant forever until I decide it's time for her to have the baby? If not, is there a way I can "hold off" the delivery until I decide she is ready to deliver?

Not trying to do anything weird, but I just like to manually "age up" sims and stuff, to keep my sim world exactly the way I want. Like making a movie, sim gets pregnant and has baby when director says so.

I work for a living, but I don't necessarily live for a working.

Cmar has a pregnancy mod that lets you pause a pregnancy on this site found here, http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=485285 .
