Hey everyone,

I had a Sim who got stuck during his senior year of college and he eventually starved to death. He was living alone so the game left his urn on the floor and asked me to move someone else in. No one in the University had a Resurrect-O-Nomitron obviously, so I had a student move in, put the urn in her inventory, move back to the regular neighborhood, and move in with his parents who I figured could bring him back to life. Unfortunately, the Grim Reaper doesn't recognize the gravestone/urn despite the fact the family members can interact with it and his ghost comes out every so often.

I seem to have trouble resurrecting other dead Sims that have been moved from their original lot as well. I did a search for this topic and didn't see much discussion about it.

What do I need to do to bring that Sim back? I don't normally use cheat codes (I'm playing on a Mac for what it's worth), but I'll do whatever I have to in order to play with that particular Sim again.

This is ridiculous, I know.

Unfortunately, I had no luck with that potion. He'll come out of his grave, drink it, but then nothing. I tried putting out a bunch of them and he'd drink them all, but no dice again. I read in the comments section of the download that someone else had that problem, but it didn't look like he got a clear answer for it.

Any other ideas? Thank you again!

I don't know much about the usage of the Resurrect-O-Nomitron but would it still work or does the Sim have to be a "fresh dead one"? If it would always work: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=146737

I just figured it out. I think the Sim didn't come back to life because he was still in college mode and I was trying to resurrect them in the regular neighborhood.

I had a teenager take the tombstone to college with him, leave the potion out, and he came right back. He even picked up right where he left off in school (I had him in his senior year and thought I wasted all that time when he died).

You're welcome. If a resurrection is totally successful the Sim won't lose anything like skills or school performance.
