Default Can't find a Christmas Tree, lol!
I know it's a dumb question but here it is:

I've got Happy Holiday pack, but cannot find the Christmas Tree. I can only find a very small tree that can be placed on a counter, and a huge one (it's called extravaganza something). Santa Claus doesn't come, despite me having santa cookies and mantelpiece with the gloves. Maybe he doesn't come because I don't have a right tree on the lot. I've looked everywhere, please help, tell me where to look for it in the buy mode.

P.S. The stuff pack is installed alright, after all, I can make santa cookies, so that can't be a reason. I just can't find the tree.

Try looking under Decorative-All. That's where mine is. I only just got the pack though, so I can't tell you if that's what will make Santa come though yet.

Shame on you for saying that, we all can learn new things from everyone, there are lots of things in Sim 2 that are new and never been try before by some players. I have been playing the sims since 2007 and not until this 2009 I try getting Santa and Father Time to come to the Sims homes.

And I have had the Holiday stuff pack since 2007 it came with my base game, but I never try using the holiday objects or getting Santa or father Time for New year, not until this pass holiday and YES they both came to all 6 sims houses I played. It is good to share and learn and help others who may or may not be new to the game.

Hey Simonut what's the point of Father Time? He just comes and turns into a baby, is there something intersting that can be done about him?

I know it's off-topic, but it was me who created the topic (lost my password, so using another account), and I think for the creator of the topic it's allowed to digress!

You know, it's actually really easy to reset your password. No need to use a different account.

ViveaRu, The point of "Father Time" is ( an old man )who represent oldness things that are passing that is old. Just a second before midnight he rings out the old year, when he turn into a toddler within that next second it is a New Year. The ( baby or toddler )therefore represent a new birth or new beginning for the start of a New Year.

Babies or toddlers are often use as a symbol for a new starts, because they have to grow to become older in years like the old man ( Father Time ) so the real purpose or point is "Out with the old year ( Father Time ) in with the new year (toddler. )

After all when Christmas is over New year is next so "Father Time" do have a point or place in the game, even if it is short live the Sims get a great enjoyment out of seeing him and ringing in the year with him.

Yes Santa leave toys if the Santa cookies are not burn if they are burn he will leave coal ( not good ) so be sure to have the best cook in the household cook the cookies. Send your Sims to bed around 8PM it is ok for the person who doing the cooking of the cookies to be up be sure there energy is not low for even if they are a good cook if tired they can burn the cookies. Santa will come around 10PM or close to it and hang around like 3 sims hours and also eat the cookies

Yes you need XMAS tree in the house as well. When Santa come right away all in the household will wakeup and come to see Santa. Let your sims give Santa a friendly hug they will become friends right away, also it will be in all the family members memories that they met Santa and they are friends.

He will leave the toys near the Xmas tree, my sims got things like a stereo, or a bear it depends. OH I should warm you Santa use the Bathroom a lot lol and he very funny with his sound of hohohoho my Santa was not fat. I made my seasons all winter in the game just to get that Xmas feeling, you can always change back to normal after the sims holidays are over, it was fun to do. :D

Oh I already did that, although I'm not sure how. You see, my problem is that both accounts exist with one and the same email. I really don't know how that is permitted at this site, how it even let me register them both with an already used email! They're both rather old. So, when I tried to reset a password for Babahara, instead I got emailed a new password for ViveaRu . But in a couple of days I luckily managed to get a Babahara password reset, too!
