Default predestined hobby revealing objects?
Can anybody tell me what objects sims need to view to reveal a predestined fitness or games hobby? I have objects cataloged for all of the other hobbies and I need these two to finish the set.

I've had fitness come up from swimming, and also from using the career reward punching bag, I'm guessing working out with the tv or radio would do it too. Games will probably come from any game object - darts, pool table, all 3 games tables (majong, poker & llama), the chess table too I seem to remember.

Who knows where thoughts come from....? They just appear.

If you have existing hobby enthusiasts in a household, having a Sim read the hobby magazines themselves should trigger the revelation, too. I expect that viewing the Hobby Enthusiasm plaques earned by another Sim should do the trick as well. Perhaps, seeing as you own Open for Business, you could set up an owned community lot with magazines and/or hobby enthusiam plaques available for general viewing. The various electronic entertainment objects should trigger games enthusiasm showing up, if you are looking to add things to a collection file.

Thanks for all of the advice. I guess that what I'm asking for doesn't really exist. I was hoping that there was an object for each of those two hobbies that would reveal predestined status simply by viewing it, like with all of the other hobbies. It's kind of strange that these two are excluded. I'm adding a gaming system and an exercise bike to my hobby testing folder.

You can do this with Sim Blender or Insim- One True Hobby's are typically found under Personality for both. The Sims pre-destined hobby will show up in the personality/hobbies section of both Insim and Sim Blender as grayed out even if they haven't discovered what hobby it is themselves yet.

arelenriel, thank you heaps for pointing this out! I was sending my sims through "watch cooking show/music channel/sports - rake some leaves - unclog a toilet - jump a rope - go out and birdwatch - do classic dance with someone - use an easel -read a novel" routine just to figure out what was their predestined hobby
Your advice will save me lots of time now.

Oh, if you want to CHEAT to find the predestined One True Hobby, the BatBox ffslotdebugger.package over at MATY will also do that, and even allow you to SET the One True Hobby [I`m assuming that the widget that arelenriel pointed out will do this too, but I *know* that the BatBox will].
