Default peeping toms...
why the hell is my sim a peeping tom? here's a funny story to go with it:

my sim recently got a telescope. my sim wanted to spy on his neighbors. the funny thing is of all the people he wanted to spy on it was bigfoot! bigfoot came over and shoved my sim. my male sim burst into tears and ,apparently, wanted to do it again. bigfoot shoved my sim again. my sim got mad and since he is a warlock, used the chicken spell on bigfoot.

because what else would you use a telescope for in broad daylight?

Male or Female? I can't understand your sims, even if they're actually 'gay' or want to get some Fun points out of it. Bet bigfoot whooped them good. ( This post, hopefully, was of no offenses, Thankyou).

It took me 30 MINUTES to realize that you DID mention he was a guy in the opening post. Wow, my IQ dropped! :C

Most sims are perverts. Both male and female have spied on other sims during the day and I just laugh because I know a sim is gonna come along raging mad and give the sim what they deserve. Most of the time, I try to make the telescope inaccessible or stash it in their inventory.

One time, one of my pregnant females was spying. I can't remember now who she spied on, but it was rather disappointing that the sim backed down because the person spying on her was pregnant. I would prefer they stalked the sim until she gave birth, then give her a thorough butt kicking.

They stalk the ones they can see - that is, the ones living in the direction the telescope is pointing to. And using a telescope in daylight isn't very healthy for the eyes. I know they're pixel eyes, but it's a pixel sun. D:

True, very true. Well, if they go blind its not our faults. Well, it is THEIR pixel eyes. And ah.. my graphics suck so bad, I can't even see a sun!

I've had sims rolling the want to spy on neighbours, I do wonder what kind of personality they need to have (likely low nice points, I'd imagine).

Not in my experience. In Angelos Town, no matter in which direction the telescopes are pointing, I always have the same sim spied on -- one of my sims, Nathan Martin, was spying through the telescope towards no other houses, and Abigail Bishop (who lives in the other direction) appeared and shoved Nathan.

According to the Sims Wikia, it's the first sim created in the neighbourhood that's always spied upon, unless it's the first household doing the spying (in which case it's then the first sim of the secondary family).

I recently downloaded a mod to choose to spy on any neighbour at any time...then went and tested it out...

I got a sim to spy on his best friend, which he did for several hours without anything happening...then I got him to stop as his daughter had come home from work and I wanted to get her logic up...
Only then did the friend he'd been spying on do a walkby...and as he passed the telescope he gave it and his friend (who was by then jumping rope) a bit of a look! He looked really rather grumpy, but he kinda does all the time anyway!

Ages ago when one of my families had a home business to start their eldest son off on his entrepreneurial life, Mortimer Goth came by one morning, showed a very brief interest in the shop, then proceeded to make his way upstairs and stood in the doorway of the girls' bedroom (while they were still asleep)! Their father had followed him up the stairs so I got him to ask Mortimer to leave! Was so glad then when I went to play the Goths that it wasn't long before Mortimer died!

I remember I had a Sim in a mostly testing neighbourhood who would always get slapped by this one Sim every time. They hated each other before long XD
I wonder what she found so interesting about her life?

You know, Mortimer always slaps my Sims, exept for the premade Maxis sims. Wow, Mortimer seriously has problems. What an old, grumpy, ***hole he is. It wasn't before long till he died of Old age. Hallaluya!

Well, just think if you're Mortimer. That'd be pretty upsetting to find someone spying on you, especially a neighbor.

No, I don't spy on him. He does this on a regular basis. I don't get my sims a telescope either, ( Thats the whole point why i don't get one, 'spying').
