Default Life Fruit?
Is there any particular place to find a life fruit seed? Or is it just hit and miss with finding seeds?

Or is there another way of getting them?

Just search for a ''special'' seed or use buydebug to get a plant with the fruit already included.

Yup. Therere arent any seeds labeled directly as Life Fruit, but planting up a special might grow into it. I dunno about the other two EA maps, but I know the specials are around the graveyard in riverview.

I recall seeing a life plant growing in a house lot in Sunset Valley somewhere around the edge of the downtown area, towards the road leading away to the military base. Sorry that wasn't much help... but I do recall seeing it.

I dont know why but I thought this was needed for ambrosia (it's not)
Which recipe requires this fruit? I went crazy trying to find one, now that I have them I dont know why/what for

Ambrosia uses Life Fruit and Deathfish. You can also simply eat the lifefruit straight to gain +1 day...meaning it is more powerful in shorter lifespans. When sims have a 5 day stage length, one lifefruit is worth 20%. When sims have have a 200 day stage length, one lifefruit is worth only 0.5%.

Flamefruit is the same way. Flamefruit is particularly useful to Pyromaniac sims.

IIRC one of the houses close to the beach in Sunset Valley - the ones that are built on a cliff slope, has life fruit growing in a small garden on the side of it. Big orange house, next to a grey one.

I believe it's the house Gobias Koffi lives in- I remember stealing some.

Flamefruit can be found in a tomb in Egypt if you have WA.

Life Fruit and Flame Fruit can be found in Egypt, the former in the pyramid that is near Abu Simbel and the latter in the small pyramid between the great pyramid and the sphinx.

Flame Fruit can also be found in Sunset Valley: in Gobias Koffi's house and The Wainwright's garden.

Edit: The Langerak also have special fruits in their house.
