This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time
Default Sims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff Pack
Hey to all, I have this question to ask just to see if someone had this problem to before.

I had uninstalled the holiday stuff pack and all my expansions, too, along with base game because the "holiday clothes" were not showing up in my game nore in "the body shop, like they once did before. by the way I have the "double deluxe" edition.

I had no idea why the holiday clothes didn't appear in the game. so I installed the double deluxe again and tried to install the holiday stuff pack, too, but my desk-top keeps saying its already installed. thinking the holiday stuff pack was gone when I uninstalled the base game, but when I played my game I started decorating a home and I seen the holiday decor still in my game, so I thought how is it possible when I uninstalled it with the base game. and I went into body shop to see if the holiday clothes were there and they wasn't.

so idk what the problem is but I really would like to fix it and get the holdiay clothes back but need help with this one badly.

if anyone could tell me or help me out with this I would really appreciate it very much.

How did you uninstall the Holiday Pack? It sounds like some things were left behind. Try uninstalling it again, following these instructions: Game Help:Uninstallwiki.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

what I meant was when I said I uninstalled the holiday pack, it should have bin uninstalled along with the base game. some people say all you have to do is to fix this problem is to uninstall everything and reinstall again, but that's not in my case because I tried and then after doing so, I reinstalled the "double deluxe edition" again, along with the expansion packs too, and I also tried to reinstall the holiday stuff pack again, but my desk-top says that its already installed. so I went to play my game to see if the "holiday clothes were there and they wasn't, only thing showed up were the "holiday decorations and christmas tree's".

but its ok because I spoke to an "ea representative" about the situation and now hopefully the problem is resolved. and I'll let anyone know if this solution is going to help/work!.

Uninstalling the base game does not automatically uninstall every other expansion and stuff pack - each needs to be uninstalled individually.

ok, so, I spoke with the ea representative about the problem I was having and he sent me an emial with the link to this web page that'll explain to me how to get the "happy holiday stuff" out of my game, so it would work again. he strictly said "You do not have to uninstall the base game just the expansions and stuff packs that come after The Sims 2 Holidays stuff pack".

I did exactly that, then I went to see if the holiday clothes was there but they wasn't, just the holiday decor, so, what I did was deleted/uninstall all the expansions and the base game too. afterwards I install the base game again and went to play and boom surprisingly happy holiday didn't show up in my game....yaay...lol so happy now, I can install it again and my sims can throw a christmas party.

here is the link he sent me http://support.ea.com/app/answers/d...%20stuff%20pack

and this is another link he gave to me for the correct installation order for the sims 2, expansion and stuff packs.
