Default Casual sex
Goddamn, sims have TOO much self respect. How do I get them to have casual sex? Why will they refuse to do it unless they and the other sims are in "love"? Grr, I'm trying to do a legacy challenge and this is frustrating.

They can do it in a rabbithole without being love interests. And I think also in a sarcophagus too.

A few times I've sent two sims into a rabbithole intending to woohoo, but when I select "woohoo with..." there is also the option to do it with some other random person who happens to be inside the building!

Yeah, actually this is a small problem for me too! Sometimes I just want to get my Sims laid without them having to be in love with everybody! I think it's pretty impossible unless there's a mod out there that allows this sort of thing. [UNLESS you do it in a rabbithole like the person above me says] EA wants the Sims to be "family-friendly", and of course that means that they can't have this sort of thing in their games without being accused of being "immoral".

On that note, I miss the cake dancers from Sims 1. Things are just TOO TAME nowadays.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Twallan's Woohooer allows you to do this. Seems to let you do most anything else.

Twallan even has a new toy (actually, a new custom skill) he's released at his new site that works with his Woohooer

"Kama Simtra"

Need I say more?

The Woohooer has the 'risky woohoo' option which works once they are at 'friends' level- even if not in a relationship. The risky bit is set at 10% probability of pregnancy I think but you can alter this easily.

Find it worse that it’s frustrating getting them to woohoo even if they are lovers, they require a pretty intensive foreplay not only for sex who makes some sense but also for the high end romance interactions like make out, and yes any distraction like an pause and a Sim puts away a book or look at something and you have to restart.

Right?! I hate how you have to wait until it says 'SIM thinks SIM is being extremely irresistible'. Can these two Sims get it on without all the drama?

And I hate how as soon as your Sims have a sexual encounter, they become "romantic interests". No. Just because we did the horizontal llama doesn't mean I want to be your noopen poopen.

I agree i wanted to have a relisticly loose sim who was never in a serious relationship. I was frustrated to find this wasn't very possible.

on that note we may be getting strippers in generations which would be wonderful.

Forgive me if I am wrong, but doesn't the Nraas story progression adjust the "liking gate" for a sexual relationship with townies, shouldn't it also affect the active sim? That is something I will test when I get home.

Yep. If they relax on the bed they can woohoo without all the lead up. At least, if they are already in a relationship - not sure about otherwise.

if you use NRaas WooHooer, you can edit it in S3PE to make it so the liking gate is 0 so you can have sex with anyone! free love for all!

I'm cooler than cool! I'm stupid!

I do agree we need a "casual sex" option. It would allow for more realistic gameplay, especially with late night installed.

@rcranger9
But you still get that "Romantic interest" right? We need a way to get rid of that.

You only get the romantic interest if you let them kiss or ask the sim to stay for the night or such. The lower flirt interactions and the woohoo/risky woohoo/try for baby with the WooHooer have no such effect even when the sims are best friends.

The only reason I don't like the whole "romantic interest" thing is because they get jealous. Hello, you're not dating, you're not engaged, not married. You don't have the right to get jealous, you're not supposed to be committed!

Story Progression affects sims you're not controlling, for the most part. Woohooer is geared for both active and inactive sims. You need Woohooer to get it on in the way discussed here.

it'd be hilarious if there was "morning after" or "but I thought you loved me" moodlets after a one night fling :D

I do have to try the Woohooer again, but last time I tried it, nothing happened. Think I saw something about setting the XML for it to work. Well, if I do that, I know my game would blow up into a nuclear cloud and forever ruined. LOL!

The "walk of shame" would make a great moodlet as well.

Actually, if memory serves me correctly, there is an option in-game to adjust the liking gate on woohoo in the Woohooer. It gets rid of the need to have a relationship with sims. I'll have to go find which menu it's in, but ever since I adjusted it, my sim has been able to... Uh... You get the point.

Very much this. It's in the Woohooer menu to set the "liking gate". If you set it to 0, lots o' lovin' around the neighborhood will start happening. I turned up the "risky woohoo" to 90% with a possibility of it causing pregnancy tuned to around 5%. This way, most everyone is having wild crazy monkey love with the possibility a baby COULD happen to them (more realistic, imo as the only truly safe sex is no sex at all).

I just tried the woohooer out recently, and you can pretty much woohoo with anyone. There's an "attractiveness" scale, and I don't know what that's based on, but one of the two sims in question did NOT find the other attractive and they did it anyways.
They also weren't even 'love interests', by the way.

I also had the Kama Simtra installed too, so I'm not sure just how much that effected it... The whole concept of the Kama Simtra thing is adding woohoo-ing as a skill. It caters specifically to the type of sim who counts the notches in their bedpost, if you get my drift.

Though I didn't do it myself, I'm pretty sure you can change the percentage of the 'Risky Woohoo' option without the Tuning mod(Twallan links to it in the main post).

I get kind of bored with promiscuous sims, though, so I uninstalled the Kama Simtra part... but if you want me to go check out the Woohooer itself I can do that. I'm pretty sure he has all the stuff you'd need to know in the readme file.

Speaking of all this, is there anyone who's used it too? I have a gay couple, and I wanted them to have a kid together... but I'm terrified of borking my game. I ended up getting a surrogate mother to have their baby, and changing the second parent to the other guy.

Same gender sex won't bork your game. This is how my male/male couples reproduce. Twallan has done an excellent job for TS3, just like TwoJeffs' has for TS2.
