Default So what's your Sims reputation?
I've had an Eternally faithful sim before, and another one that was a Dirtbag

You can check by going to Memories, clicking the second tab and it shows you.

To get dirtbag, I had this sim constantly break off and re-enter a romantic relationship with three girls, then would makeout and woohoo with them in front of each other, then repeating.

Today, I went to get my spare to marry his high school sweetheart. When I get them to the wedding party, he suddenly has "accuse of cheating" in his queue. I was freaked out! It wouldn't let me ex it out and they were fighting and didn't want to get married. He kept trying to convince her to marry him again, and I got a notification that he had the faithful reputation.

When I finally cheated and got them to do some friendly interactions, then some romance ones, then they got married and she joined the household. I saw in her relationships that she has THREE romances going on besides her husband. Oy.

I've not played much since I patched (it would seem this came with the patch, not the EP) so so far I've only got the cheater rep since my sim was sleeping with his wife's sister How did you det the dirtbag rep? Anybody know what other reps there are?

I don't know what other reputations are besides: Faithful, Eternally Faithful, Exploring their options, Cheater, Dirtbag and None .

It's pretty scary when that happens isn't it?
My sim rang Billy Caspian, her on/off romantic interest and arranged a date with him at the swimming pool. As soon as she got there, she ran up to him and accused him of cheating and I couldn't cancel it out. Afterwards She started crying, he ran off and their relationship changed to 'disliked'.
Turns out Billy was also seeing some old lady called Nellie Spenster. But quite how my sim knew this when I didn't even know myself is a mystery (a bit like the psychic papparazzi who can see you cheating through walls apparently ). I also don't understand why she'd wait 'til I'd gone to the trouble of arranged a date, only to turn up and shout at him? I mean she'd been woohooing with him for weeks and never seemed to have a problem then that he was seeing Nelly too then.
She ended up with a 'naughty' reputation as a result of her complicated love life. I found it hilarious when I had the 'what do they say about me?' social interaction appear when she was speaking with her best friend later. Other sims are saying that she isn't exactly faithful apparently, which is ridiculous considering the fact that she has no partner, only romantic interests. And most of her romantic interests are sleeping with other people themselves anyway!

I'm never going to get 'Eternally Faithful' since I like my sims to have a good few romantic interests before chosing who they want to settle down with.

I've had one guy get the naughty rep for cheating with their female roomate. Eventually he got the 'accused of cheating' moodlet from the non-cheating boyfriend, and they broke up.

So I hooked them up again, and he had the 'cheater' rep. I gave the other woman no jealousy too, and things seemed ok, until the game autonymously decided to break them up again.

I dislike the game autonymously deciding what is cheating and severing my sims romantic relationships. This did not suit my story when I envisioned everything being consensual. It really ruined things for me in that household.

I don't normally make my sims get divorced so maybe this is normal but I actually lolled when my wifey sim accused the husband of cheating and I made him do the "you look upset" and "calm down" interactions. The first pic is her response to that

The second pic is when the heartless cad then jumped back in the hot tub with his sister in law to snuggle up right in front of the wife. If that doesn't deserve a dirt-bag rep I don't know what does!

I almost never break up my Sims or make them cheat. It's like the Brady Bunch in my neighborhood. But I decided to spice it up and have the husband cheat on his wife. He then developed a naughty reputation. The wife still has eternally faithful and she still doesn't know her husband cheated on her. The woman the husband cheated with was also married and when they woohooed for the first time he then got out of bed and accused his lover of cheating. He knew she was already married too so I don't understand why he accused her of cheating on him only after that woohooed. But then they broke up and I went back to my comfort zone with Brandy Bunch mode.

I had a female sim who got the naughty reputation, she had 2 romantic interests and was engaged to the guy i made who she lives with...then one of her romantic interests found her with the other one and her reputation changed to cheater but her fiance never found out o,.o

And I'm currently playing as a male sim called Thomas and his reputation changed to "exploring their options" when he kissed Rhoda Bagley for the first time outside the library, he was waiting outside for his son, he has only had 3 love interests and they didn't last very long

I've had cheater, but nothing else really. I might have to make a slag sim and see what different types of reputation I can get them *cackles evilly*

I think it's mighty strange that my trailer trash wife (JoLene Bean - she dreams of being a country singer) is a cheater, when her criminal husband BillyRae Bean (who has murdered ALL his wife's lovers) gets off with nothing more than a bit of home in time for tiffin jail time. The children of this dysfunctional couple, GasoLene, WindowLene, RaeLene and Brad (don't ask) all hate their mother for her lyin' cheatin' ways and couldn't even bear to spend time in the trailer with her. Pfft! Even now that they are in the witness protection programme (again, don't ask) and JoLene is mendin' her cheatin' ways they still aren't keen on her.

My sim has the reputation cheater, though before that it was simply naughty. What's annoying is that my sim wasn't in a committed relationship with anyone, but because she slept with two separate dude-sims she's now a cheater :/

Although her reputation may have been escalated because she slept with a married sim...

I don't like the new system. My teen girl has tried to romance two boys. One rejected her, and the second became her boyfriend. But since she had two romantic interests she's naughty?!!

Please, modders, say there's a way to fix this.

Like . . . the system is just useless if its so sensitive. o_O

Yeah, the new romance system seems a tad conservative. I would like to decide thanks, if my sim is a cheater. I would like to decide if my sim can have 2 boyfriends or whatever. If I make a house of aliens, why must they follow standard human dating patterns? To me the system is also a bit judgemental. I don't think labeling a sim who had a romantic fling that was never resolved in high school a cheater is appropriate.

I think restricting all levels of romance to simply monogamous relationships just makes the game restrictive. I can see wife/husband and fiance.. But Love interest and bf/gf? ER... This is 2011. People can date more than one person without being a cheat.

I've got a sim now who is 'exploring options' or something similar. She was married to my sim, they split up, SP got her a couple of romantic interests, but then she got back together with my sim and they've been married with a child for some time now.

I would hope a mod to cure this craziness is in the works? As well as one to allow choice or at least set the days between prom, graduation and such?? And While Im at it, isn't there a mod somewhere that changes the jealousy script so as soon as you kiss someone you significant other DOESNT run all the way home to slap you or something?? I can't seem to find it or find one updated for generations

Had an even stupider incident with the 'reputation' system today.
One of my Sim's romantic interests (Jebidiah Wilson) heard that she'd hooked up with Billy Caspian. So whilst Isabella is at work at the fire-station, I get 'be rejected' action pop up in her action queue. I couldn't cancel it out so I had to stand and wait for several sim hours, whilst Jebidiah drives all the way from the other side of town just to come and 'reject' her. Thankfully there were no fires during that time period because those simmies would have burnt to a crisp whilst Isabella was busy waiting to be rejected...
How can he reject her anyway? They weren't even a couple!

I had a Teen sim.She had a boy friend. As in friends. Been friends with this particular sim all through childhood..

She aged up before he did.. She starts seeing this other sim: Female.. Woohoos her.. The next thing I get is that her rep is now Naughty.. Mind you her boy friend is still a teen and she had only dropped into bed once with him when they both were teens and are now friends.. Not romantically interested..

She gets Naughty?? Really? Seriously?

There should be a time limit or something to make this a little more realistic.

Romantic reputation has killed my game fun. I honestly wonder who designed this restrictive godawful system and why they never tested it at all.

I mean, it seems a no brainer to me that half of the things which are wrong with romance reputation would come out in beta testing. I am by no means a sims power user, but sims being considered cheaters for a fling in high school? A dead love interest earning a widow the 'cheater rep'? Or jealousy when No jealousy is enabled. Come on EA.

My only conclusion is that they knew about these bugs and released the game anyway, probably hoping to coast by.. It really is impossible to fathom these bugs and problems would be overlooked in beta testing.

I wish the romantic reputation was for adults+. Because teens and young adults are always actively exploring their options, dating several people, all that stuff. It's normally around adulthood that they REALLY start committing, even though some don't and some are really committing earlier that than.

I have one girl with the Cheater reputation, she lives with one guy but they are not officially a couple, and she has one romantic interest on the side, but no WooHoo, just kissing with him.

Then yesterday I was playing my legacy house, at first I just noticed that my legacy starter and his wife no longer were all cuddly like they usually are, then I noticed that the husband had a new romantic interest, a cheater's reputation and he has divorced his wife. I do like how the reaction to cheating is much stronger now than before, there's actually slapping and the relationship takes a huge hit, but I wish the game wouldn't break up my people's marriages. What if I wanted to have them work on the relationship, instead divorcing them.

The family I have created for this EP the husband has the Eternally Faithfull rep, his wife doesn't have one but they went away on vacation and she came back with a boyfriend, I don't even know where she picked him up (though she was an NPC so she could have been dating him at the same time she was dating my sim). I spent ages getting the relationship back up and knocked her up with a baby (as my sim has the family trait) she now has more romantic asperations with her husband, but when I click the shower the woohoo with option says she doesn't have a 'lover' on the lot - I would have thought that her Husband would count towards that.
