Default Can I change the day of the week?
Like the title says, is there any way (hack, mod, cheat, or SimPE I don't really care (except InSim, 'cause apparently that change is only temporary)) to change the day of the week? Like from Monday to Friday? I ask b/c I'm playing a challenge and I moved one family into a new house and now they're on Monday while everyone else is on Friday. And it wouldn't bother me if the house wasn't full of kids who are about to lose all the social time that all the other households got to take advantage of. ~VP

I don't know whether there's a hack - I do it when they're all in bed using the sethour cheat. Here's how:

1. Get to about 2am
2. Pause the game
3. use sethour 23 (I don't know what you'd use if you use the 12 hour clock but you could temporarily change to the 24 hour clock by clicking the option in the Options panel)
4. Run the game on fast forward till the time turns over to the next day (i.e. midnight)
5. Rinse and repeat till I get to the day I want
6. Set the time back to 2am

It's a bit of a fiddle but I've never had to alter the day so much that I've bothered to look for a more efficient way to do it.

There is an easier way to do it than fiddling with the game:

It works wonderfully. I always use it to keep my neighborhood in sync. It does not let the game revert to the "Always Monday" stuff that the game loves to do.

Oh thanks - said I'd never bothered to look! Should have known someone would have made it - that will save me fiddling about with time every now and again.
