This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3
Default Mod Conflict Checker
I've gone to the Wiki and looked at various programs. There's Dashboard and Monitor Processor, but none of them seem to be able to tell you which files you have that are mods or packages that are incompatible with your game. This is rather frustrating, as I have to move all my CC to the recycle bin and re -add each one and load the game each time, because I see no other solution of going about it.

Someone please help, this is kind of a nightmare as I was very excited about playing SIMS 3 for the first time and now it's taking forever!

There's no such thing as an actual reliable mod conflict checker. It might be possible to make one for some sorts of mods, but it's next to impossible to make one that really handles all kinds of mods.

There is one slightly helpful method of checking: read the requirements in the thread when you download, and check the comments to see if anyone has had problems with it. And check often to see if it's updated.

(If you are working on checking out a mod conflict, the 50/50 method is a good start. If it works with one section in, that's half of your mods that you know are not causing the problem alone. If it doesn't work with the first half out and the second half in, the first half is cleared. It's only when it works when each half is there that you need to figure out which two (or more) are being a problem.)
