Default How to build an auditorium? Where is the stage?
Hello everybody!

Here is my problem: I want to build a nice auditorium in the Sims 3 showtime, I've created a lot and selected the good category, but I can't find a stage for my lot. I've searched in furnitures, and in communautary objects, nothing!

Can you help me? Do you find where the stage is ?

Thank you in advance & sorry for my bad english.

They're in the buydebug catalog. Open the cheat box and type testingcheatesenabled true followed by buydebug and you should see a new tab in the buy catalog that floats above the UI that has a ? for it's icon. There in the last section of that just filter by expansion and you should be able to find them.

As far as building the venue goes there's no information on that yet or at least not that I've been able to locate. There's a piece for seated crowds but it's unclear if you can place any seat or just the benches from buydebug for seating. Hopefully, it's any seating since the benches are blue, ugly and can't be recolored.

Some notes about the show floors for tables and benches:

These are used so Sims can watch a show whilst seated. The show floor for tables can be used with any square or round table that seats four and any dining/desk chair. You will need to assemble the table and chairs before placing them on the show floor. The show floor does not work with the LN bar table or bar stools. The show floor for benches work with the provided bench or any dining/desk chair. No sofas, arm chairs, or sectional pieces. The show floors will also be invisible when you first place them [or at least they are when I do]. To fix that, just switch from buy mode to build mode then back, and they will show up.

If you look at the venues created by EA, there is a proprietor marker. This is not in debug. As a proprietor is needed so Sims can audition for a gig, I assume you'll need that too. However, I haven't really done any testing yet. [I've been invited to beta test another game, and that's been eating up some time!] Proprietors might show up automatically for SHT venue lots, or might with SHT venue lots with a stage, or not at all. Anywho, I'm pretty sure it would be needed for other lot types: parks, beaches, LN clubs, etc.

Someone unlocked the proprietor placement marker [as well as a bunch of other stuff] over at that More Awesome Than You site.

The proprieter should automagically show up on a lot even if there's no marker. As long as it's the right lot type and has a stage.
