I was playing Sims 3 in a New world which i have downloaded and suddenly it crashed and the Crash log analyser said Warning: Custom Content. So than I uninstalled all the custom content and only installed 6 of my fav contents includes 1 sims, 4 lots and a new world. The problem stopped but after like 4 hours of playing it CRASHED and said Warning: Custom Content.... anyone know how to find which content is causing this or how do i fix it?? how come it crashed ? isnt should have crashed when i started the game and not AFTER 4 hours?? thanks

The custom content is probably the new world.

Anything that didn't come with the game or expansion/stuff packs is 'custom content'. Best thing to do is remove the stuff you have downloaded one by one and if you can play the game without problems, you've found the answer. Have you added any mods recently? Are your mods up to date? Have you patched the game recently?

The world is called "Everything Island with pets" and the creator said there are no CC. Yea all the patch are up to date. I have 11 nraas mods and are uptodate as well . isnt there a way to see which cc is causing this problem ??t thanks

Do you have any furniture or other items? Did the lots come with custom content? Objects and furniture created before Pets would crash the game. And you have JUST Nrass mods? Not awesomemod as well or anything?

Also be sure to delete your cache files.

Delphy has a dashboard application on here which checks package files but I don't think it looks at custom installed via the launcher.

It might just be that the world is too graphics intensive for your video card, I've had that once or twice before, some worlds just won't work with no logical reason other than everyone's computer is a bit different and what works fine for one might not work for another. Does the world have things from expansion or stuff packs that you don't have?

Sounds like the issue is definitely CC, and the method outlined in the FAQ will help you narrow it down. Of course, if your game was running just fine with the same CC and at the same patch level until you installed that world, then you know what the culprit is already... it's the world... and the place to get support for THAT is from the creator, at the site you downloaded from.
