Default Early Retirement
Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a mod that allows Sims to retire at either the Young Adult or Adult stages of life instead of just Elder? My current Sim is a Young Adult and I plan to leave aging off, but I'd like to get him a job to make money faster since I'm using things like painting/sculpting/horse racing/collecting and so on to make money right now and it's sort of slow.

Thing is, I know I'll get bored of having the job eventually, but I'd hate to see my work go to waste by simply quitting. That brings me to my original question. I'd prefer to use a mod to retire at a young age, not intentionally age to an elder when I'm ready to retire and then cheat/use the De-aging potion to become young again unless I absolutely have to.

I know there is a "Retire" option in Nrass Master Controller, but all it does is set your job to "Retired", which isn't a pension plan, it's just a non-paying "job". That's not what I want. =(

If anyone knows if there is a mod like this, or if it can be made, please let me know. Thanks for the help in advance.

"NRaas \ Master Controller \ Intermediate \ Careers \ Retire" does exactly what you are looking for.

The "Retired" career is part of [StoryProgression], which you receive when your sim retires. You still get paid your pension though.

Actually, using [MasterController], you could start up *any* career if you wanted, such as a self-employed career, and still retain your pension from your previous retired career.

Locking as answered.
For future reference, we have a WCIF section (see Help menu, or click on the autolink-that dotted underlined hyperlink thingie), if you need the community's help to locate a mod or simply asking if anyone know if such-and-such a thing exists.
