Ever since I have patched my game (I only have Late Night), C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 looks very different. I can no longer start without the launcher (I don't have the .exe) which is a big problem since it takes a long amount of time to load. In here C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 I have three folders: Game, GameData, and Mods. I do not put my packages in this mod folder and under Game, I have Bin but the only thing in there is d3dx9_31.dll. I tried to see if anyone has had this problem but unfortunately I haven't found anything. It's really a pain to play through the launcher so if anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you're not looking in the directory your game is installed to - what you have there is what I'd expect to see if someone had the old style framework installed, then uninstalled the basegame. With TS3 running, open Task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Delete), find TS3W.exe in the Processes tab, right-click it and open Properties. What does the Location line of the Properties window say?
